Strictly Briks Compatible with Lego Building Blocks Road Plates 10" x 10", 4 Pack Kids Brick Baseplates for City Road, Street, Race Track, Towns, Classic Size (2 Straight & 2 Curved)

Bought 2 packs of 4 plates and got 3 different colors (from dark gray to medium to light gray). Seriously, is the color mix done manually for each batch ??Also, moulding traces are very visible in the plastic.And lines don't connect well ... at all.The only good point is the price.

These are thicker than LEGO base plates. They are actually about the same thickness as LEGO plates. The studs are also spaced slightly further apart than LEGOs are. Not a lot, but on longer pieces that tolerance stacking adds up. I took one of these plates and placed it on top of a LEGO base plate, lining up the left side with the LEGO studs, and took some pictures. As you can see, at the right side the studs do not line up. Because of this, they don’t fit real well with other LEGO pieces. They are ok for smaller bricks but the longer bricks don’t fit very well. Also, because they are thicker than LEGO base plates, you can’t really butt them up against each other and build something on top of both.

Inaccurate description: “Baes plate 100% compatible with all major brands”.Based on Lego terms, these are “plates” and not “base plates”. These are same thickness as standard Lego “plates”, and much thicker than Lego “base plates”. These will are not compatible with Lego “base plates”, especially if you want to mix these with Lego road plates of Lego base plate thickness. Material is noticeably lower quality than Lego plates. I will not be using these as road plates, my intended use of these based on “base plate” description. I am considering cutting them down to size and use as roof or floor for modulars, or just toss them.

The item was shipped very promptly and was well packaged. However, the baseplates do not line with the standard LEGO set (60236). The road markings are off by one stud and the thickness is also slightly higher than the actual LEGO set. Hence, the two cannot be matched up on the same construction. If you want to construct your roads with this set alone, then you will be fine. However, if you want to mix and match, you will be at a loss.I had ordered only one set and the colors matched up. However, others have indicated that the color can be off for multiple batch orders.Bottomline: Use them exclusively to make your roads, but do not mix with the actual LEGO set. You will be disappointed if you do. The price for 4 straight road plates cannot be beaten. That is their saving grace.

I am a HUGE fan of Strictly Briks plates, tiles, etc. and this review could go for any of those. I picked this plate to review because it's the best for what I use it for. Strictly Briks plates and stackers allow you to make very nice toy towers/toy shelves, but I've learned through various iterations that the plates with pegs can be problematic for bigger action figures. Their road plates on the other hand are perfect for figure displays. They have pegs on the edges but are mostly flat for standing figures. It's the best of both worlds.

For the price and something that my kid will use a few years, it's OK. The cheap quality is apparent immediately at first glance. The road surface is 90% matte with 10% glossy streaks/patches. But functionally it works with legos just fine. It's thicker, but hollow underneath, so it doesn't mate well with real lego sheets (not level). Let's call it 3.5 stars.

My kids wanted curved road pieces, and this was a pack of 4. However, they are thicker than real Lego baseplates, so you can't easily drive a car from one plate to the other and they say you can put blocks underneath and stack the plates, but LEGOS don't stick well to them and the plates fall over. Total junk. Save your money and buy the original.

These were recommended with other sets through Amazon, but they did not line up with the other sets at all. If it wasn't for the mismatch they would have been ok, but the quality is lower than the other plates I ordered from other companies. OK, but be careful what you mix these with.

Since amazon removed my first negative review I need to post another. These boards did work with lego. They are as advertised but the quality is no where near the lego product. They are thicker and the plastic is shiny and easily scratched. They may suit your needs but we were disappointed.

Da wir sie erst seit einigen Wochen haben, ist allerdings noch unklar wie halbar sie beim spielen sind.

Great road baseplates for use with lego (or duplo). Significantly cheaper than the branded equivalent and just as good in my opinion - we have both the branded and these baseplates.Would i recommend? Yes!

Great price but the product does not line up with its own product??? Was this a manufacturing error, I don’t know, but otherwise the product works great with our legos. I am not sure if I would recommend based upon the print job but if this doesn’t bother you, they are good.

ONE BOARD THAT WAS ALL THAT CAME IN THE BOX RUBBISH WHAT WASTE OF MONEY!!!
