So much potential… this is just not there yet.
These VR Goggles have a lot of potential. But I cant say that the issues that came up are outshined by the product. I do love VR as I have some PSVR googles and will be getting Oculus Rift goggles as well. These goggles do promote an immersive experience.I love how this comes in a carrying case. It makes it highly portable. Well, it would be if there was an easier way to collapse the goggles. The sides of the goggles are really hard to compact and compress into their original form so that they will fit nicely into the carrying case. I’ve just been stuffing them in and trying to force the case close. The head strap just doesn't feel secure. I wish it were a bit more adjustable. I’ve had it slide off of my head a couple of times. But I will say it is comfortable. Some of the movies do not load fully before they start playing. This means there’s detail missing and it looks blurry and pixelated. Which is really hard on the eyes. I actually was glad most of the movies were short because if the video ended up being blurry my eyes got a break. It would be much better if the movie could fully load before it plays so this won't be an issue.I think there needs to be a way to reset your position. When I wanted to lay back and use this in bed the position is always set at the same place. So I can only really use these sitting up. The relaxation videos are really nice and I think it would be great if you could lay back and chill out.You do get in movie controls and you are able to move the headset to use as a remote. But I found myself having to remove my phone more often than I would like. I think it would be great if there were an option or separate accessory that was a Bluetooth remote you could use with this. I think it would have solved the issues I was having. Usually, when I removed my phone from the goggles it was to reset the app. Also, the app crashed quite a few times but I’m not sure if that was my phone or the app. I do have an older phone but my apps don’t usually crash and close.I think my biggest gripe with these glasses is that they don’t fit your phone while it's in a protective phone case. There’s a reason my phone is in a case. It’s actually in a waterproof case for… reasons. So I need a tool to pry my phone case off. Which is a lot more effort than you would think. Also, I’m super clumsy. I have shattered my phone more than I would like to admit. So the fact that I have to leave my phone unprotected and handle my unprotected phone makes me cringe. Also if you have children as I think these goggles would also be great for children but I’m sure no parent wants their kid handling an unprotected smartphone. When I first opened the case the head strap was on the outside and I thought that was how the phone was held into place. If there could be some way to make it adjustable to accommodate all phones and cases I would use more often. The goggles are really well made and durable. I think they are perfect for children and adults alike. Using these with earbuds is amazing like you are transported someplace else. And I think this product is a great idea and has so much potential. I’m an insomniac and the relaxation videos even helped me fall asleep. Like right now it doesn’t feel finished but with a few additions, I think these goggles could be amazing.Edit: I did figure out how to collapse/fold them to make them more compact but there should be some kind of instructions on how to do this.

Tough to rate....3 or 4 stars?
When I first tried this setup, I couldn't get it to focus. So I was going to rate it as 1 star and throw it away. But I decided to dig a little deeper, and went to the company's website. There is a PDF which explains that you have to "uncollapse" the headset to get it to focus properly. Basically the headset arrives in the collapsed state and you have to extend it or pull it apart to get it to come into view properly. It's not obvious and they should have included a simple flyer with this info on it.

Doesn't work. This is a total scam.
This is such a scam. We received it, scanned the QR, and input my information. However, when it told me to download the app, there is no place to sign in.Everytime we try to start a video, it says "video error" and freezes the app. My phone is supposed to work with this thing per their website but it doesn't.I contacted customer service and all they can tell me is to sign in, but you can't sign in anywhere.Total waste of money, I'm probably going to return it. I am 100% convinced that this is a scam company.

Great size. Easy to use. Love it!
Vodiac VR - Virtual Reality Goggles, Carry Case, Free VR Videos & More via The Vodiac in-App Streaming Service. Powered by Your Smartphone iPhone Android Compatible. Very easy to use. Just download the app to your phone, iphone or android, and off you go. This is a great VR program for those without the money for an expensive one. In the App, start the program, put the phone in the specified place on the VR Goggles and there you have it, Live VR. I recommend this item.

Inexpensive VR goggles to partake in VR video (may it be through Vodiac or other sites online)
With the talk about the Metaverse, numerous virtual reality (VR) devices, applications and even a movie about VR, there is no doubt a lot of interest in virtual reality technology. While there are devices which cater to the VR entertainment, not every one can afford them and many are hoping someday there will be sales similar to console gaming (which never happens).Having used VR for many years and have reviewed many products, today I am reviewing the Vodiac VR (virtual reality goggles), an inexpensive way to watch VR videos utilizing your own smartphone.Sure, there are numerous sites which offer free VR videos, but Vodiac has an app-based streaming service in which people can partake in videos from traveling to beautiful areas, taking part in extreme sports, watching documentaries, partaking in relaxation or thrilling rides shot in VR.The goggles go for under $40 and by flipping the front lid, you hold your smartphone screen towards it and you can move your head and move alongside your phone to make it feel you are in a VR space. The Vodiac VR app is available by scanning the QR code which takes you to Vodiac VR's app (I tested with Android). I tried typing Vodiac VR into the search for Google Play, but nothing came up. So, I believe you need to scan the QR code that comes with the goggles which takes you to the application download on the Google Play .Granted, removing the goggles, you can watch the videos on your smartphone too by moving your smartphone around. And of course, as mentioned, there are VR sites online in which the goggles can be utilized as well, so you do get more content. With this being said, the immersion is nowhere near the type of immersion you get from more expensive VR goggles. In this instance, you do get what you pay for and you don't have to hold your smartphone, so yes, you pay more for the convenience. This is not gaming VR goggles, this is a way to watch virtual reality video and move around without having to. Let that sink in a moment, VR goggles for $40 and the ability to watch virtual reality video from Vodiac's streaming service (or anywhere online). If you don't mind holding your smartphone to your goggles, then the $40 investment should be enough for you to watch uplifting, thrilling, relaxing or other types of content (which I will not get into). For the price, if you want to to partake in VR video, then definitely check out Vodiac VR (virtual reality goggles).

Be carefull don't fall for this product!
For the first time I am writing negative review and I am really worried about the product itself. I have received tha product today and started reading setup instructions. Instructions were clear - scan the QR code and download Vodiac app. It is when I have scanned the code and entered my personal details, I have realised that the app that I have downloaded by using provided QR was NOT Vodiac app, but Revolut - online finance, cards, transactions, etc. Luckilly, I have e not entered my card details, but they now have my name, email, even phone number. I have checked received package and instruction and could not see anywhere Revolut mentioned. Now Revolut is bombarding me with emails to finish started setup. I had to download Vodiac app from Google store. Also the Vodiac promotion code to watch free staff is not active and therefore useless. I will be reporting Revolut and Vodiac to UK financial authorities and perhaps Amazon can check out this seller.

No information supplied with item.
Bought as a gift, not yet handed over so no in-depth comment can be made . It did arrive very quickly, almost a week before the promised date, but there was literally no information on paper or in leaflet form to be a guide for someone new to the item. There was more information on the seller’s description page but only in very general terms. Remains to be seen if it’s purchase was a mistake

Happy grandson
Bought for our grandson, he thought it was a PlayStation one and at first was disappointed until I set it up and now he loves it. Comes with loads of videos, you need to download the app. Easy to use although the smallest setting on headset is still a bit big for my 8 Yr old grandson but still usable. He has also managed to find minecraft in VR via youtube.
