Thank you for your question. Our product Andrographis EP80 Extra Strength contains 80 mg andrographolides from 400 mg andrographis per capsule. This is not an unsafe amount of andrographis. Human studies archived on PubMed.gov, the electronic database of the National Institutes of Health, list daily dosages of 6000 mg per day with no serious adverse effects. As for the key compound andrographolide, there are published human studies using as much as 20 mg per kg (the average person is about 70 kg, so this dose would be 1400 mg of andrographolide) with no serious adverse effects except one serious allergic reaction.
