I used these in my wedding and they worked beautifully. Solid construction, soft, flickering candle.

These are very pretty, but unfortunately the little door is too narrow to fit the pillar candles I got for them. I still used them, and I’m mostly happy with them.

Bought these for my daughter’s first birthday photo shoot. They turned out beautiful. Now I use them as decoration in my house. They are very sturdy and worth every penny. The lights I put in them glow beautifully. Can use these for so many occasions.

This product is made of fabricated sheet metal & real glass panes, so is durable, but, glass is breakable if too careless with it. This product has a metal & metal framed door with a glass panel in it as a way to insert candle and match or cigarrette lighter to ignite the wick. There is plenty of room inside for a fairly large candle, or, for 2 to 4 smaller ones. There are ports in roof of lantern to draw smoke and hot gasses & air away. This product has a welded metal ring at top by which to carry & hang. One warning is, when a candle is inside and it is lit, the metal carrying ring gets quite hot to the touch, and, requires carrying by something thick and non flammable, such as aseveral tightly folded paper towels, saturated in water, to avoid burning your hands when carrying. I purchased these for use in halloween displays, for full-sized skeletons to hold, but also decided to keep them out, unpacked away, the rest of the year, with large candles and a box of matches in them ready to go in case of power outage. Why not just keep a flashlight ready? Of course do that. But people in the family do not always return them to their proper place , fresh batteries are not always available, and in a power outage, there's no light to find the flashlight or batteries by. The lanterns will tend to stay put, so in the dark they can be found and lit, to go hunt for flashlights//batteries And they are pretty and decorative, so them being out year round is not an eyesore. Highly recommended.

Great size. I actually take these camping and use a LED insead of candles. Even swapped to glass for acrylic. Great as holiday decorations as well.

Build quality is terrible as is the design. They look good until you get close and the door is not wide enough to fit anything over about 3in diameter, if that, and the candle has to be so short for you to even see the flame in here that it won't last very long. Also, the latches suck.

These lanterns are on the porch and I like that they have a time - on 6 hours and then off. Convenient. Non breakable.

The patina gives an antique look. Just what I wanted to use as part of my build to make book ends. Very pleased with the quality.

The two lanterns arrived very well packaged and were both in perfect order. They really are rather nice and definitely have that vintage look about them. They are far sturdier than I thought they would be, which is great, because they will be able to go outside on Halloween, particularly as they have a very sturdy base. There are four glass panels which gives a great glow if you have a light inside. There is one glass panel that has a good latch that gives access to put in a light or candle and the panel will stay firmly shut. The glass is tempered which means it’s a lot tougher than normal glass and is less likely to break if it gets the odd knock. The other great advantage of tempered glass is that if it should break it shatters into small granular pieces, so no sharp pieces to worry about. I really do like these lanterns, far more than I thought I would, apart from the great quality, they have been getting admiring looks as well as numerous compliments and have become a bit of a talking point. I was originally going to use tea light candles in them, but after searching on Amazon, I actually ended up getting a set of six remote controlled and rechargeable LED alternatives, which have a very realistic flicker to them and are safer for indoor use and they look just as good. Because they have a matt black finish, these lanterns will fit in with most styles, and mine will certainly be used in different rooms as well as outside. I am even thinking of getting a stand to hang them on. These lanterns are very easy to recommend, they are very well made, stable and very robust. They are really good looking and look even better with a candle inside (real or LED) and they are suitable for so many uses. The price reflects the quality of these lanterns and you certainly get what you pay for.
