Mindful eating: changing your eating habits to have a healthier life.
I have been on every diet known to mankind. While some work better than others, in the end I always saw each diet as a temporary path to losing weight and then the diet ended. And each diet was strict. No cheating allowed and low calories. This book wants to change that thinking. First I bought the companion book Healthy Exercise Habits by the same author and I knew I needed to buy this book also. You can avoid exercise, at your own peril, but you sure can’t avoid food!What this book teaches you is mindful eating. It analyzes how to mentally prepare your plan, how to implement it, what works and what doesn’t, and a whole book full of general information about the psychology of eating, not dieting. A diet is forever, not just until you reach your goal. As in the Exercise book, she recommends a plan that allows flexibility and that’s not so rigid you’re overwhelmed and eventually quit. The last few pages outline diet mistakes we’ve all made. There’s so much more in this book that I can’t mention it all here.It’s written in a conversational tone that’s smart but professionally written. I enjoy pictures in books (especially of food!) and there are plenty of pictures and also charts for meal planning, and food diaries. This book will be a great tool to use on your journey to understanding why you eat the way you do and what you can do to improve it and better your health. Highly recommend.

A well thought and planned book !!
This is a very helpful workbook. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their eating habits (most people!). I found the book to be a great place to start for those who often feel frustrated with failed diets and the author’s tone is friendly and encouraging. You can sense that she really wants to help people live the healthiest lives possible!

Wonderful guide to understanding more about food
I got this book to go along with the first book written by the author. In the beginning it seemed to be the logical choice to go along with healthy exercise habits. How little did I know just how valuable I will now consider this guide to be. Up until now I have always considered myself to be on a seafood diet. Actually, if truth be told, it has been more of a "see food" diet. Now I understand more of how to make healthier choices for what I eat.

Start Here If You're Not Sure Where To Start Again
This is a workbook for those that would like to take action with a guide in hand. You can start making changes right off the bat without having to finish a novel. It builds you up by building understanding as you go along. I think that a lot of people that have tried again and again could really benefit from this workbook.

Healthy Eating Habits is not only a book full of great information, it is a tool.
I have been on a journey of weight loss for 6 months. This book is one of the most helpful books I've read. Sarti provides pages of tools to journal meal preparation, calorie logging and more. I highly recommend this book of you are looking to change your lifestyle and relationship with food.

Superb. This book is the one.
this is the book I’ve been looking for to ACTUALLY hold me accountable and change. Cannot recommend highly enough. I’ve already handed these out to my older parents for some motivation to get fit. It’s simple, motivational and super informative. Don’t waste your time on other diet or nutrition books. This one is it.
