An associate considerately bought this for me after I complained my COLOP pad went dry. I re inked it. 4 drops. Waited 15 minutes. Stamping came out like CRAP. Added a couple more drops. Waited. Same splotchy crap. Part ghost, part heavy ink printing. What COLOP doesn't tell is that their pads themselves EXPIRE. If yours is over two years old, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. The pad uses foam material instead of felt. The capillaries COLLAPSE over time (not over usage). The foam is not stable. It ROTS. Becomes RIGID. Tubes needed for seepage become BLOCKED. You can re ink until Doomsday. Some of the pad will become reinked, some areas WILL NOT. So when you dutifully buy an $8 bottle of ink, you discover YOU NEED A WHOLE NEW PAD you FEEL RIPPED OFF. Absolute trash. Bad business practice that borders on predatory. A WARNING should be front and center on their products. Every company using this type of foam pad tech should make customers aware that the pads expire. Infuriating!
