Smart Electric Kettle, WiFi Variable Temperature Gooseneck Tea Kettle

The pouring on this is amazing for matcha but if you’re someone who likes a quick pour and be done with it, this might not be for you. If you try to pour faster it will pour out of other places and likely get everywhere so this kind of spout definitely requires some patience. I personally love it and the size is great, it can heat about 4 cups of water at a time. The app is awesome and the good feature has come in handy so many times as I often forget that I turned the kettle on. Also being able to set specific temperatures and save settings is also such a great feature. It’s easy to clean, looks great and functions fantastically!

Heats water so quickly for a cup or two of tea. Looks nice on counter. Pours well from long narrow spout. This is an appliance you don’t fully realize you need until you buy it. Makes tea-making so much easier.

This is a phenomenal kettle and it shows by the sheer amount of reviews and also the fact that it's mentioned on several other site reviews. PROs: - I love the way it's simple to use for both techies (like myself) and non-techies. - You can use the buttons on the heating base to choose basic temperature options such as DIY (this is for specific temperatures but you need the app), green tea (180 F), Oolong Tea (195 F), Coffee (205 F), and Black Tea/Boil (212 F). For those that want more, you can download the app, pair the kettle with your wifi/bluetooth, and you're good to go! -The best part is you can set it to keep warm and keep your temperature for up to 2hrs! This is good for those of us who like to multitask and don't want to start the boil all over again - The kettle also features a low water detection. So if you're getting carried away with using it from your phone and forget to add water, it won't burn itself out. Coffee Enthusiasts: Many times coffee recipes like Aeropress, Chemex, 360, Pour Over, French Press, etc will have specific temperatures to brew your coffee which does have a very important impact on level of extraction. This will sometimes conflict with the default setting of 205 F. Thus, this kettle will let you choose your exact temperature (via app only) and you'll be well on your way. You can press the DIY button or honestly just move the temperature slider in the app and you're golden. Overall this is a great product and worth the price even without the coupon. I do not understand why some of the popular kettles like Fellow's STAG or Corvo (I have two of their other products which I really enjoy. One of which is shown in the 2nd photo) cost so much. CONs: The only thing I dislike is the size of the kettle. Often times this is the case with gooseneck kettles but I can live with this. I just wished it was a bit bigger capacity.

Five stars!! Absolutely!!! I had previously used this product while visiting friends out of state and really liked theirs. It was an easy decision to buy one for ourselves. We use it multiple times a day and it’s holding up well! Very quiet, not heavy when filled, and has a nice matte black finish on the outside. There is no metallic or any kind of smell/taste. If we drip any water on the plate, we wipe it up quickly. I originally wanted to put this on a coffee bar along the wall, but it is advised not to put it anywhere where the cord is hanging down. So it sits on my counter. The multiple heat settings make it perfect for preparing tea or chai, and handy for when hot water is needed. We are very happy with this product!

I really like this Govee Smart Electric Kettle. The variable temperature control is spot-on, the gooseneck pour is smooth and precise, and the WiFi/app integration actually works well for scheduling and remote control. Build quality feels solid, it heats up quickly, and it looks sleek on the counter (see photo). I’d be more inclined to give it five stars without hesitation, but my first unit started developing glitches after just a couple of weeks with random system failures and it would sometimes refuse to heat at all unless I power-cycled it. It was frustrating enough that I had to request a replacement. Now I’m in my second week with the new replacement kettle and so far, so good. No glitches, the smart features are working reliably, and I’m really enjoying using it every day. If this one continues to perform like this, it’s easily a 5-star kettle for anyone who wants a precise, app-controlled gooseneck kettle. Recommended… I just hope you get a good unit on the first try!

So far its been going well. It may not last long, but for about half the price of what I was planning to purchase, I am good. I don't really use the bluetooth features but if the kettle is full it takes awhile to boil and having it open on the phone can help. I use the kettle with my Flair pro 3 espresso machine. I also use re-mineralized water in it. I have literally nothing bad to say about it. My needs were to have an electric kettle and for it to be a gooseneck spout. Prior to this I always used the gas stove to boil the water and then I would transfer it to a milk frother pitcher so that I could use it for coffee. Now, this thing is right next to the espresso machine and I don't have to walk back and forth from the stove.

Works great, heats quite quickly, pretty easy to pour with good control. The app isn't necessary but was very easy to connect (though I already had the govee app for some other devices beforehand), personally I really appreciate the convenience of being able to automate it, but it is definitely entirely usable without it. Design is solid, doesn't get too hot to the touch except maybe the lid if you block the steam vents. I only put water in it and it won't boil off so I haven't really had to clean it. Only downside is it's a little small, 0.8 liters, which seems very comparable to similar gooseneck kettles but if you make a lot of coffee or tea at once or for several people, especially if you preheat your vessels it can be a little limiting.

Love this electric kettle! I really appreciate that I can control it directly using the buttons on the base or through their mobile app. The temperature control is incredibly accurate, making it perfect for getting the right brew every time. Highly recommended!
