I first got 2 sets because my kid kept pulling off the tablecloths and YES braking my dishes,So we look for non breakable plates and found this set really elegant looking and strong.Now we have 5 sets of them.We did have one set come with one plate the wrong color but they sent us a new set and we returned that one.

I ordered these because I have been looking for melamine dishes for awhile and wanted a set that had service pieces and ordered the matching dinnerware. My neighbor has a set which is very realistic. You cannot tell by looking at them that they are not ceramic. These are not that! They are thinner than I expected so clearly appear plastic. They are, however, nice and light weight. They are nice big platters! They are very easy to clean because of the glossy surface. They arrived in excellent condition; no chips, broken pieces, or scratches. I have only had them for a few days, so I can’t speak to durability yet. I ordered these because I wanted casual easy dishes to use anytime, even with guests. These do fit that bill and I am keeping them. They are nice looking. I think the price point is spot on for what you get, they are great for casual dining on your couch, look nice enough to use with friends.

I've had another set in blue for over 10 years. I've never had a chip, break or any issues. Exactly what I want. My old set has had zero complications. I decided to buy this set primarily for my upgrade in color. Aesthetics. I use in microwave VERY little and i use for less then a minute. Note: Microwaves have different strengths, mine is low. I've ONLY ever washed my set by hand. I cant currently review long-term use for current set, but as long as materials to make dish set haven't changed, I'm sure with proper care, these will out last me. I'm currently middle-aged lol. I will update should anything change. So currently I'm giving a 5 star review and recommendation.*in regards to color:If you're looking for absolute pure white, this is not. Against solid white there is a very slight pink hue in this set. However it's so slight and with its crackled appearance, and with my distressed farmhouse kitchen theme, its NOT a big deal to me. Could potentially be to someone else.

These plates are really nice to look at but on the flimsy side. I should have realized they were not ceramic plates, which is my preference. You can’t microwave these plates. Just an FYI

Love the color of these dishes and that they are lightweight. Just what I was looking for in our motorhome. However they are very thin and should NEVER be placed in microwave or dishwasher. Not the best in durability as I compare them to a heavier brand of melamine I own but they won’t be an every day, year round used item. So they are perfect for our intentions.
