Interior Design: The Best Beginner's Guide For Newbies (Interior Design, Home Organizing, Home Cleaning, Home Living, Home Construction, Home Design) Paperback – May 11, 2017

I was hesitant at first as there are a few spelling errors. However this book was very informative and truly helped me to realize the basics that are so important to know. I will be referencing back to this book in the future for tips and reminders.

This was a great beginning for me into interior design, I can’t wait to start decorating my home before the new year!!

I chose this rating because as someone who has never considered decorating before and was inspired by my very talented daughter-in-law, it has made me want to go home and start to refresh my older tired RV home.

I purchased this book because it was on a list of interior design books on a blog post. Where to start? First, its completely overpriced - $26 for a mere 60-ish pages of the most basic information on interior design that can be gleamed for for free from any number. The author has no background or expertise in interior design - he is described as an "entrepreneur and writer" and the writing style is painful to read. There are typos, grammatical errors and paragraphs in the wrong sections of the book. Simply cannot return this one fast enough. Don't waste your time or money.

Basic book. But it will help to understand the basics of color combinations and spacing combination

While this book has a lot of good basic information it is priced VERY high for the 64 pages it has. I expected more for the price. If you are looking for a lot of detail you will be disappointed by this general information.

I would recommend this book for beginners. Very informative and keeps your thought fluid on what’s pleasing in a room.
