T300 Fully Electronic Heater for Freshwater Aquariums up to 80 Gal.

It’s kept my Fluval Flex 15g at 80f without issues while room temp is at 70f. It raised the temp to target in about 4 hours. Remember, your results will vary. It’s mounted in the back beside the pump. I let it come to temp in tank for 30 mins before plugging in as directions stated. Because it’s all Fluval I wasn’t worried about fitment. I keep the dial just above the water line but it’s fully submersible if desired. The red/blue light makes it easy to tell when it’s warming. Because of placement you can’t see it so you get a photo of my fresh tank instead. Fluval for life.

I’m a believer in mild overkill when it comes to heaters because I like to keep my house cold. I got the 300 watt heater for a 55 gallon tank. In 3 hours it safely took my (new, uninhabited) tank from 67 to 78 degrees. I like the (mostly) black design that blends into my painted black tank background and the aesthetically pleasing light ring that displays whether it is currently heating or not. The adjustment dial seems to have a lot of little notches if not a continuous spectrum of temps to choose from. One minor annoyance was that when I pulled the product out of the box, the black heater guard that goes on the end was stuck in a bit of styrofoam way down in the bottom of the box. I almost threw the box away and assumed I’d just gotten one without all the pieces. Then when I applied it to the already-wet heater, it popped off a couple of times. It’s not strictly necessary for my needs since my heater is safely tucked away in a vertical position where fish can’t get to it, but still, watch out for that.

Product is not designed for use in the United States. Product comes with a Type G 1363 uk plug that requires 240volts. United States runs at 120volts and uses a Type B nema 5-15p. To those reading this, I added extra info so you can research on your own. US adapter will not work due to not enough voltage to power the device.

I have been using this for 14 months with no issues it holds a good temp. What is more impressive is the Saftey off…. I drained the tank today while distracted and forgot to unplug the heater… I thought it was toast, but to my surprise it is functioning fine and it holding at perfect temperature after re filling the tank. That feature alone would warrant a repurchase if I am in need of another.

So far so good, I feel safe knowing my heater comes from a trusted company. Unlike, other Youtube personalities that claim to be a Co-Op. Can't trust them, I wouldn't want their fire hazard in my tank. Thank you Fulval for making quality products.

I have used previous versions of this product line for my 90 gallon fish tank. I enjoyed the features of the auto shut-off when it detects water levels that are too low (this is what accidentally burned out my last heater). I have the product in my sump tank - where there is plenty of good water flow. With the product set to 82 degrees - my tanks temp is 80. Now I set it to 84, I'm still not hitting 81 in the tank. (the heater shuts off thinking that the temp is correct - and it' just not. I had less of a problem with the previous generation (only off by 1- 1.5 degrees at times). Just not too happy with this guy thus far.

My cichlid cracked the base of the original while she attempted to attach her reflection. A wild girl and fortunately not hurt. It worked perfect for over 3 years. Excellent and easy temperature control.

I bought two of these for my 120 gallon. I always use two smaller heaters, because I've had many heaters stick on and I'd rather have an undersized heater making the tank warm, rather than have a "proper" sized heater cook fish.

So far so good . Love the design. Simple , efficient. Has good features. Avoids problems like overheating, bursting and overall good product.

Dégoûté, j'attends avec impatience ce chauffage car le mien est très irrégulier, déjà il n'arrive pas au moment marqué sur le site Amazon, après il est perdu , après il part à la poste , et finalement quand j'ai réussit à le récupérer, il a une prise ANGLAISE 😑😑😑😑‼️ Donc je doit attendre encore 3 jours pour avoir un adaptateur, bravo prime ‼️ Pour le produit, c'est a voir dans le temps mais il semble résistant à la première vue .

Fabulous heater, well worth the slight extra cost. Being able to mount it horizontally is a godsend as it's now completely hidden behind the rocks and plants so the tank looks far less cluttered. My previous cheap heater allowed the temperature to drop by 1 degree before switching on and then raising the temperature 1 degree above my setting before switching itself off. The electronic system in the Fluval has much finer parameters and accuracy, seems to come on at 0.1⁰ below and switch off again at exactly the temperature I've set it to. It's held a set temperature of 25.5⁰ for 10 days solid without more than a very occasional 0.1⁰ downward fluctuation shown on either my digital internal probe or standard thermometer. The fish definitely appear happier and healthier without the large temperature swings. The permanently illuminated power & heating light ring gives peace of mind that it's working at a glance. I have a second tank and will definitely replace that heater with a Fluval when the original that came with it starts to misbehave.

I've had many heaters over the years. I like how this is so easy to see if it's on or off. No condensation in the housing so its truly a submersible heater. Bit big for my 10g tank as it's quite long bit still fits and works great.
