I can use these insert with and centipede table and the 2" poly insulation top does not slip around like it does if I have 2/4 supporting the poly top.

The pads fit well into the hole of the Centipede workbench so there is not modification needed. The non-slip material does grip the work surface but get scuffed quickly as it doesn't seem to be made of resilient material. The pad is small in relative to a work surface, and it must be in direct contact to the work surface, otherwise the surface will move. This product may work better for lighter work surface. I have made a 24 X 48" X 3/4" birch plywood surface, and it seems to heavy for the pad. It is better to purchase the larger pads by Bora, which will provide a larger contact area to keep the work surface secured.
