Started assembly 1:00 PM, finished 10:00 PM. I'm 66 , I had to stop and my wife took over. After it's together it's great and serves the purpose it's intended for.if you're old, call your nephew and count how many cuss words he says as he assembles this and make sure he does it right. Instructions aren't really that bad but a couple of things you have to take a second and third look at. Instructions are just pictures and a time or two they leave out a picture element not shown correctly. If you get it together, it looks great and is exactly what I wanted. But if somebody ask me to assemble this for them, I would probably ask them for minimum $300.00, minimum. I would pay more for this thing if the assembly was less laborsome. Maybe if I was in my 20's or 30's it would be OK but I probably would be drunk half way thru assembly. Anyway, the finished product is great. I'd recommend buying this if you don't mind the assembly. I believe you would have to put together without them, however that may affect the stability of your cart. **Q: can I pay to have it assembled?** A: I paid a handyman to do it. **Q: Can this be used outdoors or will it not hold up to outdoor conditions? If not can it be covered with an outdoor grill cover?** A: I don't think this would hold up to outside conditions. Also, I think it is too big to find a grill cover for it. I was worried it would be cheap-looking or not good quality given it's low price. I'm very happy with my new island! My only complaint, when the drop leaf section of the top is down the arms are exposed which is not very attractive. The photos on the listing show the leaf down and flush with the counter top. Clearly the picture was photoshopped. For that reason I gave it 4 stars.
