Analog to Digital Audio Converter RCA to Optical with Cable RCA L R or 3.5mm Jack to Toslink and Coaxial Adapter for Soundbar

We got an old secondhand TV that's about 10 years old so bought a soundbar to improve the sound quality. The TV only had a 3.5mm analog jack port so got this to connect to thr digital output on the soundbar and the sound is perfect. Great gadget if you don't want to spend €€€ on state-of-the-art equipment and just want decent sound quality to watch TV in a smallish room. Easy to use too. Recommend.

Absolutely spot on. I can now hook up my record deck to my new sound bar. Very discreet and a good price. Highly recommended.

Thanks to this item I now have my soundbar connected to my PC. It is so nice to get a decent sound quality instead of the tinny sound from the monitor speakers. Only minor problem was that I did not realise there were protective caps on the end of the optical cable but once removed the connections fitted fine.

It works as description. The installation is simple and good to include all cables.

I needed a analogue to digital converter to go between my ifI ZEN CAN signature MZ99 and Fii0 BTA30 PRO Bluetooth transmitter. And looked at others a came to the conclusion this one looked the best and I am very happy. The details from the ifI are kept going to the Fiio Bluetooth transmitter. Which in turn I have connected to Fiio BTR7 which then I either connect to my Yamaha headphones or my Bose pro speaker. I can't speak about other brands but this audio converter works perfectly. Update. Unfortunately this seems to be converting stereo to mono. This isn't a problem for my Bose speaker as that is a single mono type speaker anyway, but with the headphones the stereo effect is lost which is a shame. The only thing is that this one looks the best, comparing to the others that I looked at so taking a couple of star's off as wasn't really wanting to convert to mono just analogue to digital.

Neat little product and works well as intended. A little light weight, but a bit of blu tack underneath keeps it in place.

I wanted to use my soundbar with my PC but it needs an optical in and my PC only has 3.5mm headphone style socket out.Having bought this, I was able to plug a 3.5mm cable from the computer into the AUX input and then take the optical out to the soundbar.I was worried that it wouldn't work, that the sound quality would be really ropey etc. but not a bit of it. It works really well and the sound quality it great, just as if I had a 'proper' connection rather than analogue to digital audio conversion going on in a little box in between.It feels pretty robust (metal not plastic) so I would recommend without hesitation.
