Think this would fit a 12 year old boy?

Definitely will fit. It is adjustable.

Can you see the adjustable strap while wearing it?

I can't remember. I bought it for a colleague. I do think it looked pretty nice for the price.

The picture is of a black hat, but the description says navy. Which one arrived for you?

It does indeed look black in the picture, however, I ordered the navy. It's a dark navy but it looks great. This cap is a good look for anyone. Enjoy it...
