Q: Is it easy to ring out the water and does it ring out well? I have hardwood floors and don't want excess water.

Yes. The handle to sqeeze the sponge is easy to operate and the sponge folds in half when squeezed. It rings out well. I use it on my hardwood floors. I like it. I had another mop that fell apart and the sponge held too much water. This one is sturdy.

Q: Can it be used on bathroom floor tiles?

For sure. It’s just this mop is better on wood floors than a regular mop. I use it on wood and stone floorings.

Q: Can this mop be used on an oiled hardwood floor?

Sorry, my wife has only used the mop on regular hardwood floors. I would guess that if you used the mop on oiled hardwood floors you would have to change heads quite frequently.
