Love them! Favorite hooks!
I LOVE these. They are light, and have a pointed top. Importantly, they aren't too pointed, no riping or splitting the yarn. Just enough of a pointed to help you get through tight stitches. I love the natural grip they have. Someone said it's like a toothbrush handle. I don't know about that, but I find them extremely comfortable. I only wish the sets came with more sizes.

Love them, but have to treat them more gently
I try not to want these. They do break easier than you would think, which is frustrating. Especially if you use aluminum hooks regularly. But their pointy tip, great hook shape, the handle length, being able to twirl the hook as you pull through a tight stitch, cannot be beat. So i have been buying another one when i break one. Anything smaller than 4.5mm needs a little more care. Aluminum you can pull through at any angle... With these plastic ones, I try to move the work so the hook can stay straight instead of accidentally bending that hook back.

I like it so far.
Well, I have several different brands of crochet hooks I should say that first. I have all the old ones from my grandma, mostly Susan Bates (Silvalume) but a few Boyles (aluminum). I find that even with the same "size" hook made with different material CAN yield different results and can result in your hand being more "tired"; so, when I am starting a new project, I test my various hooks with my material to see what I like and if it works for my hand. This hook, I tested it on the Bernat Maker "yarn" (the cotton and nylon stuff) and I liked how smooth it glided on the material, but I decided on a smaller Susan Bates hook because I liked the texture with the smaller hook, but I do look forward to using this Prym on something else later. Some reviewers noticed "drag" but I am not really sure what "drag" means with crochet! This Prym hook is plastic so maybe with different yarn, the yarn does not glide smoothly across the plastic hook? I don't know since I tested on cotton/nylon. Hooks are made with different materials, Susan Bates, Silvalume, Boyle, aluminum and some are just "metal" not designated! This Prym is plastic. Maybe the yarn moves too slowly across the plastic hook on the Prym? I will check that out on later projects. I would recommend if you're new to crochet, that you have different brands and sizes because not one hook, even in the same size, is going to always fit the bill. Just a suggestion.

Great hook, but plastic breaks
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to use, and worked very well. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks of work it broke, likely because it’s a smaller hook made of plastic. I love this brand, but now I only use metal hooks for 3mm or smaller.

FINALLY! an ergonomic hook that fits my hand ...
The perfect fit for my hand! I've tried a lot of ergonomic hooks over the years, but this one works best for me. It's longer and more substantial plus the rubberized grip makes it comfortable to use. Note: I use a "knife" hold with my hook -- if you use a "pencil" hold, this might not work for you. The only downside I've found is that the TPE plastic hook tends to pull against yarn that contains acrylic fibers. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but it slows down the process a little. With natural fiber yarns (cotton, wool, etc.) there's no sense of "pulling" against the hook. I've gotten used to the "pull" sensation and I'm able to move fairly quickly through it (just finished a large afghan using the 7 mm hook, and am currently working on a shawl using the H hook). I liked the 7 mm so much that I purchased both of the sets available here on Amazon. Very happy with this purchase!

Fantastic!
These crochet hooks are fantastic. I ordered 3 more after using an H. Wish they made a F & I.

Fragile plastic neck
This is a nice hook, however it lasted about tow months and broke in the middle of a magic circle. I was using weight 3 yarn and do not have tight tension. Great hook if you don't need durability. Comfortable handle an all but fragile neck.
