Great product. I did (2) 1/4 c soup mix:(2) c low sodium chicken broth batches, then blended... batch 1: just soup mix & broth. Batch 2: soup mix, broth, ground white pepper, ground mustard and 1 can Hormel smoked ham (hear me out!). Simmered both, immersion blended the first batch & added to second batch. Tasted like it had been cooked for hours by grandma! I wanted to see how much GOOD taste I could get for what price... I did the math for you: 1 qt + of awesome tasting soup cost $4.56 TOTAL, not per serving, including organic stock. Kids love it & no crap ingredients.

I gave this soup mix a "3" for two reasons. #1 is that while it is a good vegetable soup, it simply doesn't have enough split peas in it to warrant calling it split pea soup. I will continue to use it as it is a good mixed veggie soup. Secondly, there is no way you can cook this mix in the 10-15 minutes as instructed unless you like crunchy soup. The time should be at least 30-40 minutes of simmering.

I cannot understand negative reviews about this amazing soup mix. If some people follow the cooking instructions like simmering long enough in a boiling water, they will probably succeed.A great soup mix, what else can I say. And very convenient to have it always in a kitchen cabinet for times you are craving a soup.Will buy it again and again. Thank you

I bought several dried mixes for convenience. During the beginning of the Covid scare, I was not going out to the grocery store. I needed foods that had a long shelf life, because going to the grocery store every few days was no longer an option.

This is not a good camping soup. It takes 20 plus minutes of boiling to make not crunchy. Is in seasoned, I was trying to find the instant split pea soup that I normally get and this was a thoroughly disappointing substitute.

I got this so when I'm having a bad day I could still fix something to eat that is easy. I just add 1/4 cup of the pea soup to a can of French onion soup, garlic is opt. Simmer 20-30 mins. Simple!

I love vegetable soup and don't always have 6 hours to make one, especially when it's just me, so this is great!

I love all Harmony House products. If you like split pea they really hit this out of the park. I mix it in with other soups and the flavor is there, plus it thickens up. I hope they never stop selling it.
