I have had to purchase these three times. Two times, one in each package had a bent prong. Even though it was bent, it didn't work. I contacted the company for replacement both times. I had the "go ahead" but for some reason, my printer isn't working so I can't print the information to bring to the UPS store. That's not the company's fault, it is mine. Of the the ones that arrived in perfect condition, work!

This would have been extremely convenient, to have a moisture/pH/light meter in one device . . . except these do not work. The moisture meter is hit or miss, even when placed in soaking wet soil. Sometimes it registers, most times not. The pH meter remains at 7-8 no matter what soil it is in--even soil I know is conditioned to be acidic. The light meter barely moves, even when held under 16,000 lumen grow lights, unless it is put within less than an inch from the light. In all, this is a piece of utter garbage and does not work as advertised, at least the ones I was sent.

We used these today as we were planting our blueberry and raspberry plants. Easy to use, informative and helpful as we work to get the soil prepped for our berry bushes.

With a variety of plants and locations (both front and back yards) it’s helpful to know about lighting, watering and soil. This items is my go to for plant checks. Highly recommend!

Doesnt read correctly but it gives a general idea. If you wanna be precise then id go with a battery operated one. These non battery spoil meters aren't good and only last a few months if that. Put both these in soil and seem to work and then checked in a bucket of water and the photos say it all. It should read wet and limit out but it says its moist in water lol

Works exactly is you would expect: It lets me buy my wife flowering plants that she will keep alive. So the saving on bunches of flowers is a big saving for me! I notice they have been in the dirt for many months now, when I pull one out I can see the coating from the reaction (anodizing? not sure) but it makes absolutely no difference to the accuracy of this neat device. I would highly recommend them. Even if it fails after a year (It hasn't), it is still a great product for the price. The only problem is the plants keep growing and as I said to my wife: "Yes, I know you asked me to pot them up. You don't have to keep reminding me every six months!"
