Beastie!
Not a light knife. It's a workhorse. There is no weight relief in the liners. Sharp out of the box. Very grippy. Tight retention on the clip, maybe a little too tight. This is my first Off-Grid but I'll be buying another.

Great knife but……
This knife is great. Only draw back is it is super bulky and heavy. Action is wonderful blade is perfect for price. But the liner lock is flush with the handle. Super hard to close. Not a fidget knife that’s for sure. Grip is amazing. More of a camping knife then an EDC

Great knife as expected!
I have 4 or 5 folding knives from Off-Grid and have never been disappointed. Solid, well built, and sharp out of the box. This is a beefy knife. If you don't like a lot of knife sitting in your pocket, they're standard size "Enforcer" is a great alternative at a similar price point.

Large liner lock flipper.
Almost everything about this knife and its packaging is perfectly crafted. Yes, even the box speaks to a product with a much bigger price tag with its magnetic closure and cut foam bed for the knife. As for the actual knife itself, I really like the size of it. As a fan of the big Zero Tolerance knives, this feels right at home: a big, fill your hand kind of knife. The grippy G10 scales hug every curve of the hand. The DLC coated blade along with the G10 grips make for a beautiful blacked out presentation.Although it’s not without flaws. The purported “Rapid Fire Action” was lackluster. It took working the action for about an hour to get it to open and lock. It was very heavy and required much more force than seemed needed just to get the action to start to move. Plus it wouldn’t open completely and lock without flicking my wrist or arm violently. After working it, it still seems stiff and I almost wonder if I received a defective model as everything else seems well polished.

One of the best knifes I own, very well made, strong and sharp!
I love the rugidness and sturdiness of this knife. It is now my every day carry. The blade at the tip curves down so it has a more rugid and strong use to it. I can even split small pieces of wood while camping. One of my new favorites.

Off-Grid Another Quality Knife from a family owned American company.
I recommend this Off-Grid Rapid Fire Blackout knife with Wharncliffe Blade. The blade is made from Sandvik 14c28n Swedish steel, it is a nice wide blade with keen sharp edge right out of the box. The knife is packed in a nice storage box with magnetic like closure, it is suitable for a gift presentation. The Rapid Fire Blackout knife is a hefty handful, not the knife for you if you are looking for a small folder. The internal torsion bar with flipper tab allows for lightning fast opening with one flick, you hear a satisfying click when blade is locked in the open position. A good reason for the rapid fire name. The handle is covered in a honeycombed scale pattern that gives you a good grip and knurled pattern areas that form fit to your hand and palm. The knife has a long clip that makes it easy to be carried secured for left or right handed users or could fit in back pocket nicely and still be in reach. The price is right on this knife, it is solid, no play in blade or spline when locked in place and it is made with high quality steel. I got this for myself but having the knife now makes me want to order one to give as a gift to my son. It is that special of a knife. The Off-Grid company stand behind their knives, a family owned American company.

Quality knife
The knife feels really well made. It has a piece sticking out the back of the knife that opens the blade. It opens it very quick making the “quick fire” live up to its name. The blade has a unique shape that I like for its versatility and appearance. It has a pocket clip and coated blade as well as a nice box with a magnetic lid. The only downside is it’s super heavy. In a backpack it would be amazing while hiking or camping or in your vehicle. Some may not have an issue packing it in their pocket but I am constantly walking at work and it just added too much weight to my edc. The last issue is just a minor change I would make to the liner lock. It doesn’t stick up far enough, it barely sticks out past the liner of the knife. I do really like this design and the weight shows how well made it is and for certain task this would be the perfect knife. Thanks for reading
