Exceptional Value and Connectivity!
Navigating the mobile service landscape, the Google Fi Wireless Unlimited Plus Plan has truly stood out for me, earning a solid five stars in my book. Now, a quick heads-up for fellow iPhone users: pay attention to the service nuances, as they might affect your experience differently than on a supported Android device. It's worth a careful read-through.Putting that aside, the service reliability has been impressively consistent, delivering what it promises. The value you get for your hard-earned money is exceptional, and it doesn't stop at domestic use. For someone like me who frequently travels internationally, Google Fi has proven to be a reliable companion, offering seamless connectivity from the maple-filled landscapes of Canada to the vibrant cities of East Asia. The convenience and affordability for international use add an extra layer of appeal to this plan. If you're in search of a mobile service that doesn't just excel domestically but also keeps you connected without breaking the bank when you're abroad, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Google Fi a try. It's been a game-changer for me, and I believe it could be for you too!

"no option to apply credit for service only"
I purchased this SIM as I saw it included prepaid unlimited international data and texting for a month: a $65 value (the price of service for one line on this Fi plan). I hoped to use it briefly during a trip and as a trial for possible future porting of my current number down the line. They understandably asked for my credit card number to set up the account. I used the service for about 2 wks while travelling in 3 different countries (great data service, BTW) and canceled (not 'paused') the service upon my return home.Unfortunately, 2 days after I activated, unbeknownst to me, they generated a bill for a month of service for $71.19 and charged my credit card 2 wks later, while ignoring the $65 credit in my account. I called upon my return home and was told that I'll get a pro-rata refund to my credit card of only $38. (pro rata for about 2 wks of service since they billed me for a full month).I asked why I was billed at all, considering I had a $65 credit on the account. Their answer, which they refused to explain, or elaborate on was "we have no option to apply credit for service only" and referred me to the Terms and Conditions - which mentions nothing about how the credit I purchased is not applicable to Fi service. (Nor does it posit what the credit is applicable for alternatively.)I bought 3 of these cards via Amazon for me and 2 other family members and one card from another vendor. All 4 of us have been told that all we're getting refunded (in our next billing cycle) is $38 and that the $65 credit cannot be applied to service. So doing the math: I'm out $69 for the card incl sales tax PLUS $71 charged to my credit card= $140; minus $38 possible refund = $102 for two weeks of data/sms service while a $65 credit still sits in my closed account on my Fi app - unused. I asked if I will receive a refund for the balance of the $71 (less taxes and fees) in a future billing cycle, and they could not commit to an answer. One last thing, before my trip, I should have known something was not right: I called Google to ask a technical question about the SIM card and they said they don't provide support for buyers of prepaid SIMs. At that time, they said all they could tell me was to try asking the vendor's tech support my question or return the SIM card to the vendor and buy service from Google directly. This left a bad tasted in my mouth for the Google marketing division that, ostensibly, uses these prepaid SIMs to drum up new business. You can look at all my Amazon reviews and realize I rarely have anything awful to say about a purchased product. I'm breaking with that practice today since I feel I'm being treated like a gullible idiot:If purchasing this for trial and/or short term use, DON'T!!!! You may never see that $65 credited to your account (based on my interactions with Google Fi reps by phone, text and email). If you want to start Fi (which uses T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular networks domestically BTW), I recommend going thru their website directly.Good luck.

Cool service good way to try it out
I was super skeptical when I received the sim because the activate by date had already passed but customer service at Amazon assure me it was fine. I waited an additional few months and activated it and thought I was screwed because it was still ask me for credit card info reluctantly I put it in and then I saw a $65 credit being processed so I was happy. I still had to pay some fees of $5 but I was still over all pleased. Every day you can request a data only sim to add to the account for free with the higher end unlimited account. That to me is super cool to a maximum of 4 data only SIM cards with extra monthly charge. Overall the speed and service is same as t mobile as I’m using an iPhone and it won’t switch to sprint.
