The media could not be loaded. Looks good and durable. It feels like a standard double walled travel tumbler which is good. Feel pretty portable and size is great (you can see it next to an aeropress). Does what it is advertised to do and heats the water to boiling temp. It has an auto off function as you can see in the video. Boiling speed is average and it took around 6 minutes to heat up the whole capacity. It takes around 350 ml of water which makes it single use and difficult to do multiple cups at the same time but that’s not an issue for me as I usually make coffee for myself. Price is appropriate. So far would recommend. Will update the review for durability/long term use once I use it more.

I love this portable electric water heater for making tea when I travel! It's the perfect size for taking on vacation, especially if you like to make your own tea or pour-over coffee since hosts often neglect to provide an electric kettle at AirBnBs. Just make sure that the rubber steam-release cover is removed like the directions say; I have a feeling that the person who says theirs blew up had not opened this rubber steam-release cover before boiling. The only issue I have found is that the "max" fill line should be marked a little lower since when the hot water boils, that water splashes slightly through the steam-release valve, though you can remedy this by not filing the water all the way to the "max" line. The mint color is lovely, and all-in-all it's a really great product!

I’m pretty sure I wrote a negative review a month after purchased this product at the beginning of summer.I bought it to use while I was in bed rest in the hospital and it worked perfectly. 2 months later I went to Utah and it didn’t seem to turn off, which was really scary. I was so upset because it was past the return window.Well I decided to use it and just turn it off myself. I’m staying in a motel so I needed it again, I noticed it turned itself off again!I’m not sure if the area I was in in Utah had to do with it but now I’m back at sea level and it’s worked beautifully. I’ve made multiple cups of tea and there’s been no issues.I highly recommend this product. So much so I’m thinking of buying the larger one to fit my family’s needs.

Pros: cute color, nice tight seal, decent insulation, good design, good size, keeps water hot decently long, rapid heatingCons: must actively plug in to boil water, I was hoping for something that can be plugged in to charge but can still boil without actively being plugged in.Although it’s nice that it heats up fast, there is no auto turn off, water ended up spilling out quickly

We only used this product intermittently, so it took us awhile to figure out how it was affecting our home electrical system. This is a 2013-built licensed contractor and permitted structure. Long story, short: **this water heating device trips the GFCI in the outlet where it's used. ** And --- depending upon your own wiring --- can also shut down other outlets that happen to be connected to that specific GFCI outlet. Bottom line: it caused two bathrooms' outlets to go dead, and then it caused a wall of kitchen outlets to go dead when we moved it from bathroom to kitchen in order to get it to work. We had to hire a professional electrician to problem-solve with us, because it was NOT a simple matter of resetting the circuits from the breaker box. DO NOT BUY THIS ELECTRICALLY-FAULTY PRODUCT! for your own safety, beware!

I bought this one and other brand to take on vacation trips. I live in AK and pretty much have to fly out for any vacations. I absolutely love tea and wanted a way to make it in the airport or in a hotel. I returned my other one after testing both and this one is PERFECT! The exterior is warm to touch right after it shuts off when it reaches boiling point. I have no problems with the water spraying out of the ventilation hole. Boils in 5 mins and I use it EVERYWHERE now. I've taken it to my esthetics school and used it two times a day AT LEAST during the duration of my program. I bring it to work with me as well. And being I work in an emergency department it was super important to me to have a quick boiling kettle. I cannot express how happy I am with my kettle! No issues and it arrived in perfect condition. I only wish this one came in black. I know they have a larger one, but I needed a smaller one for making tea. Though I have used it to boil water for instant ramen as well. Literally one of my FAVORITE purchases. I haven't taken it on a flight yet, but will be doing so in a few days. Very happy to see people reporting it's able to go through TSA. It's literally the size of a medium to large water bottle. Lightweight, auto shutoff after it reaches boiling point, very quiet. The only noise is the sound of the water itself. Pretty easy to clean as well, just make sure the rubber seal over the port is sealed! I cannot recommend this kettle enough.

I love this and use it when I travel weather on vacation or to a family or friends house. Waking up and having coffee right away makes my day. A colleague highly recommended it and I do too! They normally have a small kettle like this in hotel rooms in Europe and I’m glad we can finally get these in the US.If you have a plug in for car camping this is also a great gadget!
