Taylor 480 Thermometer
Was loving the look and size but the THERMOMETER reader SUCKS! Blended so great with my deck decor. For days it was on point inside the house put it outside been wrong wrong wrong and yep WRONG. I would not complaint if it was off by below 5 but over 5 come on. 😢

Looks good and works
This thermometer looks very nice outside my classroom window. It is easy for my students to read and appears to be accurately reading the temperature. I did have some trouble with installation. The "three long screws" mentioned in the package insert were not included. I was still able to install it in the wall, but one of the screws in the back of the thermometer disc was cross-threaded when screwed into the packaging and I had to pull out the entire screw casing to get it free. Aside from that, I am happy with the product. I would assume my incident was not the normal experience.

Nice big themometer that has limited placement options
If you don't like the angle of the support arm - tough. Sure, you can bend it a bit - or reverse it, but you are limited in placement. There are no instructions regarding calibrating the thermometer should it need it - and mine did. I figured out how to take it apart with a paper clip (there is a little hole at the bottom of the back that allows inserting the paperclip to push out the retaining ring and three holes on the back to insert the paperclip into to push out the dial). However, there are no screws or other means of adjusting the temperature reading - you have to experiment.

Worth the purchase.
I would like it better if it was smaller, but it’s very well made and seems to be sturdy. The arm is a weird angle but is very strong. Our other one that we had for well over 20 years was broken by a child, this I will not have to worry about. So far I’m very pleased with it.

Nice
It looks good, but seems to register a couple degrees high. Will see if I can adjust it. Large face and numbers make it easy to read from inside

Nice looking, works as expected
Nice looking, works as expected. I hope it holds up for the long haul as it appears to be cheaply made, but it looks good and is working.
