CliffsNotes Statistics Quick Review, 2nd Edition (Cliffsquickreview)

Not finding much of what I need in this book. I’m clueless when it comes to stats but taking a required course.

Easy to read; seems to be a better guide to simplifying complex concepts than the "Dummy series". Helpful with calculations, wish the glossary was a little more expansive, but at least they thought to include one. The tips and techniques at the end are valuable as well as the list of other websites and resources for assistance.

School reference

While tutoring students on Stats, I've found that a few items are not covered in this manual; yet, I still do like it as a quick reference and reminder.

A necessary companion if you ever need to take "Sadistics." I don't think I spelled that wrong. This book helped me survive both of my stats classes in college. It's very well written, and has some extremely useful examples accompanied by some step by step explanations.

easy to read and understand. lots of examples and help understanding the ideas about statistics.

This book did not have the ANOVA which is necessary for later, more advanced work in graduate school. But for undergrad, it's perfect. But I did return it, can't have my house cluttered with books that I won't use.

Very helpful and goes over the main points for my class!
