I've been audio enthusiast for as long as I can remember, changing from a system to another. Went through most affordable types such as Yamaha, Onkyo, and my current was Denon with Taga set for the past 8yrs, and every one of those systems as advanced as they are needed some fiddling with depending on the content being watched every time. This little thing with a fraction of the price of those systems delivered far more than expectation. For a start, I'm using it connected to a Samsung Qled TV via ARC only. The audio level is surprisingly better than the systems with a crisp clear layers. Specifically impressed by the vocal clear sound from the center. It also became part of the TV smart system and most of the sound bar features are now within the TV screen controls. The connection to the wireless sub was seamless and it delivered a smooth bass. The best part was the listening modes, and if set to adaptive I get Dolby quality surround sound without having to fiddle with the settings be it a movie, a music track or a simple YouTube video. It is a real impressive piece of technology for such a compact and competitive price.

Worth for the price you pay.

Works really well, main issue i wanted to resolve was poor sound mixing which meant I’d constantly have to watch tv with the remote in hand for super loud action sequences followed by whisper quiet conversations. This sorted that out and the audio quality is fantastic. 4 stars as I can’t save my configuration as a preset.

I did quite a bit of research, and looked up yamaha, sony and samsung. Moving away from an older pioneer/yamaha surround sound with wires across the room, we wanted something less crisp /boomy but for it to deliver clear sound. This has surprised us completely. It has clear vocals, and if needed can become bass heavy with the sw volume controls. I just wanted an entry level model, but we are very happy and may get another one for the 2nd tv

Easy to install, and simple set of instructions. The optical input is something that I really like. Read-out screen is small, and requires caferful manipuation to avoid cycling too quickly through the (good) options.

I just purchased a new 8000 series Samsung TV. The sound wasn't quite up to par. This soundbar deal, which I purchased 'Like New', gave my media center new life. I connected it by optical cable which is not the best connection according to the instructions. However all 3 of my HDMI ports were full. No biggie. It paired flawlessly with my TV and Nvidia Shield along with Xbox. My previous soundbar was not a Samsung, and I had connection issues. I now want the rear speakers to wrap up my system. The sound is fantastic, I listened to some concerts on YouTube Premium and the soundbar and bass speaker performed Great! There are some customizable settings you can play with with the remote. The surround sound is awesome as well. Easily, all can be controlled with the Smart things App by Samsung. For the price I paid, this system hits the spot! Edit: 5/20/23 I purchased the rear speakers and it completes the package. I should have bought the system from the beginning and saved a few bucks. I got some speaker stands as well. All paired easily with the push of a button. Great Samsung products working in harmony! I just heard thunder from my left rear speaker and the realism is truly magnificent.

Excellent sound bar for a great price. Greatbvolume, well balanced tone, very full deep bass...great for regular tv, movies and ps5..adaptive sound using HDMIarc...plug and play no fuss set up. Quick adjust for the bass and treble (just max them out and you're good to go)...couldn't be happier

So I'm glad I got this 3.1 soundbar and subwoofer. I read complaints about people saying the subwoofer was too low or ineffective and I also thought that at first but read the instructions well, there is volume up and down rocker for treble and bass, but also a tone control which raises both bass and treble by pressing tone control and then using then circular up and down rocker on the top of the remote control. The soundbar ships with the bass and treble on the tone control on very low. Raise it to 6 and then raise the bass volume up and down rocker to 6 and the bass will now be very noticeable. Mind you it's not going to be like a 12" sub with low frequency that you can feel in the chest, but it does have a very good bass for watching movies and listening to music. For the price you pay here it's very good deal, especially if you are using it for a small living room or bedroom. This unit punches way above it's weight and you can also purchase rear speakers later one for a 5.1 experience.

Well when We picked this up I'd read a whole lot on this one and many other's. (I think rting's dot com is the most useful for this) With that said what it came down to for us was the sale price, and even more off for the open box. I took a chance and this time it paid off. This was sold as an open box but in fact it wasn't ever opened until I unboxed it, every part was still sealed. The best part is it just worked, I mean no issues at all....after all the reading I fully expected at least a modicum of trouble with it....but there was none. Maybe just lucky but it worked just as it is supposed to after being hooked up. I'll take the win for a change. Now for the sound, we find it exactly what we bought it for which was just to improve the living room telly. It does that very nicely, there are quite a few ways to dial the sound in for whatever your taste may be for what is on screen at the time. That being said, remember, this is a decent improvement in the plain stock television sound. It is more than adequate for that, it is NOT a full blown home theater or even a nice home surround sound system, nor is the cost anywhere near those things. As long as your expectations are in line for what this is, you will be pleased with how it can sound. I have a home theater downstairs that is fairly decent. This is not that, but it is just what we wanted it for, and are happy with it for that purpose. As long as it stays working like it does now, it's a very nice improvement. I will update if I can as far as long term functionality.
