TERRIBLE PURCHASE
The frames are wonderful. The pillows are horrible and stain terribly from nothing. They get flat after minimal use, and the colors don't match. I have been trying to return for a month now and they don't show up to pick them up (twice now) I called and they were supposed to call me back to set up a time, it has been a week and no call. They are taking up space in my very small garage and I am ready to just put them next to the curb. I don't know who is to blame on this, but if you have any doubts about liking this, DON'T do it.

mortice and tenons do not line up
I have ordered 4 chairs and have only opened 1 box and not one mortice and tenon line up I'm assuming this was cut more on the wet or green side and EVERYTHING has shrunk up, I actually have to go out and buy an electric planer to cut down the back rest bottom more than an 1/8 inch to get that to fit.I am not happy about this and I would send these back but they are very well made and I'd rather make these chairs work...I'm hoping the other chairs are better.

Great teak furniture
Classic line furniture look. Decent to good quality teak, great outdoor cushions. The only concerns were related to misaligned hardware and some minor wood cracking.

Customer Support won't help with manufacturing defect
The assembly bolts don't go all the way in on the left side of the chair - the holes are not drilled deeply enough, so the bolt goes in and seats itself as far as it can into the "receiving" hardware embedded in that drilled hole, but it won't go all the way in. So the left side of the chair is loose because the bolts aren't tight. All four bolts on the right side of the chair go in just fine, and all four on the left side don't go in all the way. After sending photos and detailed information to customer support, they sent me a package of 8 new bolts that are exactly the same as the original ones. They don't fit either, obviously. I pointed this out and got an email back saying there's nothing they can do about it. Talk to the "retailer" ...

Best patio chair I have ever purchased.
I was concerned after reading some reviews here, but now that the chair is on my deck, it is spectacular. Extremely comfortable with the cushions, and the wood frame is extremely sturdy. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Broke on first use!!! Too expensive for poor quality!
The arm of this chair broke after one use. The person sitting in it does not even weigh 160lbs. The arm of this chair broke in a place it came assembled. It was jointed and glued together with wood glue. This is very poor construction for what I paid for this piece of junk. Very angry!!!

Hardware and components didn't align or fit. Needed a lot of tweaking
I bought these in 2017, and some pieces arrived with minor cracks while some component parts and hardware didn't fit or was misaligned. (Some male parts are supposed to fit into female parts whereas the female part was much smaller and the male part had to be reduced. This being very hard wood, it was a bit overwhelming since I have no experience with furniture making). That said, they are sturdy and holding up. The cushions, on the other hand, had been problematic. The white stained into all sorts of unexpected colors immediately, while the foam inside disintegrated after 4 season. When I unzipped to have the covers washed, the insides that fell out could only be described as dusty cotton balls. Modway does not sell replacements apparently and it is proving difficult to find other brands with these dimensions that don't cost way more than the original cost.
