Reduces workout aches
I'm in my late 50s and have been exercising often again. I was taking another Turmeric brand right up til a few days before I started with this. I felt the difference after the change almost immediately when I had a full weekend of exercise. My preferred source of Tumeric.
I have more confidence in Swanson than other Tumeric makers. So I am inclined to use their Tumeric. It has the "pepper" additive which I a convinced assists the absorption of the product.The ease of swallowing should not be belittled. It's a large capsule, so it's shape and surface texture is important. I have no difficulty swallowing these. I do find however that it's best for me to take it with food and water. Otherwise, sometimes I have discomfort in my throat later.I'm not a doctor or an herbalist, so I won't talk about the benefits I believe Tumeric provides. But it's a lot more than just pain relief.I have tried several Tumeric products from other companies. I have settled on Swanson and so long as they make it I will buy it.

Side Effect: Completely Eliminated my Allergies & Asthma
I started taking Turmeric to deal with inflammation from several injuries due to an accident. Was I surprised to discover not only did my allergies disappear, but my asthma as well. So, I visited National Institutes of Health to determine if there were any studies on the efficacy of Turmeric in reducing asthma symptoms. I discovered a plethora of research confirming such! I am asthma and allergy free!! As of this writing, it has been 4 months that I am taking turmeric daily. I am, however, still waiting for my injuries to heal (hamstring avulsion, torn hamstring, knee meniscus, L3/L4 disc). Also, the 4-star rating is because as soon as I purchased the turmeric, the price increased 50%.
