I built the wooden version. It was simple to build with a provided magnetic screwdriver to hold the tiny screws. It took me about 3 hours to build. Everything fit well. When putting together the thigh joints the key is use a little piece of tape to hold the nut and pull it off after tightening.I would have given it 5 stars except that I could not download from the Arduino IDE (Version 1.8.9) to either of the nano processor boards provided. I had to copy an Arduino loader from an UNO R3 board I had to the nanos to make them work. That could be a show stopper if you don't have the ability to copy the loader or don't have spare nano boards.Full disclosure - I am a retired electrical/computer engineer with 40+ years of electrical & software design experience, not a beginner.

The Nanos that came with it do not work. I had to replace the Nanos and got it to load the code from the IDE. Now I can’t get the remote to work. I see the remote sending a signal but it will not operate the crawler. It’s possible that I may have to replace the transmitter and the receiver. Also I did not get enough screws. The company says they have sent extra screws but I have not received them. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. For the price I think it was still worth it if you do the math on how much some of these parts cost. Trouble shooting experience helps if you are going to purchase this. But if you expect it to work out of the box, do not buy this.

Received in good order and the parts looks good quality. Packaging is good too, the product box is not damaged.Have not tested the parts and assemble yet

Came with broken pieces. Had to spend $30 dollars to get the right parts that worked. Dissatisfied and disappointed for what I spent on this.
