This is one supplement that we don't used all the time, but I keep it on hand for when it was needed. Olive leave extract is a natural antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal. Olive leaf extract and oil of oregano both work in a similar manner, but olive leaf extract does not have the strong odor and taste that oil of oregano does. I have used olive leaf extract to cure a persistent ear yeast infection in one of my dogs. She had this infection for a number of years and nothing from the vets cured it. One week on the olive leaf extract, and the infection was completely gone. My 97 year old mother came home from the hospital with an ESBL UTI. This is caused by a strain of bacteria that is resistant to any and all antibiotics. After 3 weeks of antibiotics, she still had the infection. I put her on olive leaf extract and oil of oregano, and the infection was gone in about a week. These are only a couple of example that I have used olive leaf extract with great success. I won't get into all of the health problems that this supplement is beneficial for since you can easily do an internet search to get a full list. In my opinion, olive leaf extract is amazing, and even better, it is all natural. UPDATE 06/27/19: I have a number of pet parrots, mostly macaws, and 2 pairs of Hyacinth macaws. We recently noticed the stool from one of the pairs was runny and smelly. This most often is caused by a bacterial infection. Rather than take both birds to the vet for testing and an oral antibiotic that may or may not work, not to mentions the possibility of causing a yeast infection that would require more medication, I opted to try opening 2 capsules of this olive leaf extract on their food every day. I have been doing this for two weeks, and their stool is no longer smelly and is becoming more normal. Since it generally take an antibiotic, if you get the correct one, at least 2 weeks to work, using the olive leaf extract is not taking much longer and it doesn't kill the beneficial bacteria. I have kept and bred parrots for over 40 years, and have quite a lot of experience in diagnosing medical problems in parrots. So, I am not at all suggesting that you should not take an ill parrot to an avian vet - especially if you don't have experience in avian medicine. If using the olive leaf extract hadn't improved my parrots' problem in a couple of days, I would have taken them to a vet without a second thought. For them, as well as us, I try to use natural remedies rather than antibiotics if possible.

It has been five weeks since my last herpes lesion, and I have not had any more outbreaks, no more uti, no more yeast symptoms, and my sinuses feel more clear then they have in years. Warning: this will definitely lower your blood pressure, and if you have a low normal pressure to begin with you need to monitor your pressure to adjust dose good for your own system. This worked so good for me that I told my neighbor who has had high blood pressure for years and also sinus infection problems, and she started the protocol. Her pressure came WAY down, lower than her meds could do, and she is monitoring her pressure also and adjusted the dose to manage for her, and her sinuses also she says feel better than she has felt for years. This is serious stuff. Read about it, educate yourself, expect the toxic die-off symptoms, know how to dose, and try this if you have some chronic condition that needs an antibacterial or antiviral. I am telling my health professionals about it, more people need to know about this. Yes you can get better like I did. I can't believe this stuff. I eat well, am fairly active, stay hydrated, and take some other supporting supplements, but nothing has affected my entire system so quickly and obviously as this.

I have felt less tired since i began using this product. The only thing i do not like is the taste, but it is worth it.

I have been using this brand Nature's Way Olive Leaf Extract for over 5 years. I really like them. I usually take one or 2 per day. But I do miss days sometimes!. I will say that they are meant to build your immune system. I think they really do, because I am rarely sick! I also drink lots of water. I also like their Superthysilin capsules! If you have a cold aleady take Olive Leaf Extract and you will get better quicker!

I have been taking this for only about a month in combination with other supplements to help control my blood pressure. I can tell you that the capsules are easy to take and there is no horrible after taste. I have not noticed any side effects. But I'm sure everyone wants to know, " Does it work?" Only time will tell. This supplement is supposed to help with promoting increased energy and healthy blood pressure. With any supplement, do your own research.
