Very Comfortable Shoes
Bought these shoes based upon the good reviews and also the very good price, as these are being phased out. Purchased based upon the sizing of most of my other tennis shoes - the fit is just right, these are very comfortable and look nice. I also wanted the mesh upped as I will be wearing these this summer in Phoenix, so a lightweight and breathable shoe is a must - these should do nicely.

My Blisters have Blisters
I'm a very active walker, normally 6 miles per day, 6 days per week at a fast pace. I normally wear another brand of shoe, but I couldn't find my other brand on sale, so I gave these a shot due to generally favorable reviews and decent price. These shoes look nice and seem to be sturdy. These shoes are a lot heavier than the ones I am accustomed to, which isn't really a problem. The problem I ran into was the way they rubbed my heels. On my first walk, I only planned to go 3 miles to break them in. I could feel blisters starting to form when I was only half way done. I dealt with the blisters over the next week until they were completely healed still walking most days, just wearing my old shoes.I then gave these another chance, and they again blistered me within 3 miles. The blisters weren't as bad, but still enough that I went back to my old shoes while I healed.I finally gave them a third try after about another week. I felt OK after 3 miles, so I went another 3. That was a mistake, as I was blistered again by the time I was done.I have retired these shoes from my walks. They still look nice, and they are comfortable enough to wear for general purposes, but they are not anything I would recommend if you are looking for a shoe for a lot of walking.Of course, it could just be the way they fit my feet in particular...

Good Shoe for the Price
I am walking between 4-6 miles per day and wanted a good pair of walking shoes but didn't want to pay $100 for them. Had been walking in Turntec running shoes and they were ok. These shoes are better, however they run a wee bit small. I wear a 12M and my left foot was noticeably cramped. I have had them about 2 weeks now and they seem to be "breaking in", however left shoe is still somewhat tight. Nothing I can't live with, but wish for about 1/8 inch longer. Cushioning is adequate. If they came in a 12.5 I would give 5 stars. My next purchase will be the $82.00 ASICS walking shoes as they are 12.5 and the ASICS shoes seem very well made. My only other complaint about this shoe is that when it is wet they are VERY SLIPPERY on metal plates, grates, painted surfaces, etc. Could be very dangerous if one is not aware and careful.

Great!
Have had these for 9 months or so now and wear them everyday to work and out of work. They have virtually no wear and other than getting dirty look as good as the day I got them. Very comfortable, soft inside, great on my 50 yr old feet cause I am on my feet 8 hrs every day. I ride a bike to work and somehow my feet stay dry in the rain and warm in the cold but don't sweat hardly at all in the summer. What more could you want? I would, and have recommended these to others. They prove that cheaper shoes (less than $50) can be exceptionally well built and the heck with people that think they have to spend $100+ to get a decent shoe.

Must be sized incorrectly
Based on a previous pair of Asics which I loved I decided to purchase these sneakers. My prior pair was an 11 1/2 and they fit just fine. I ordered a size 12. On initially trying them on I thought they were a little short but thought that they just needed to break in a little. I wore them on an outing to the mall and by the time I got home my feet, particularly the right was in agony. Since I wore them outside the house and I had trashed the box I could not return them.If you order these shoes I suggest that you order at least 1 size larger than you normally wear.

a bit tight and too short in the toe box
I've worn a number of pairs of ASICS size 11 running shoes, so I thought I would also take size 11 in these walking shoes, but they are a bit tight and too short in the toe box. My big toe rubs the front of the shoe, so I would not want to use them for any real walking. They are adequate for sitting and poking around the office. I wish they breathed a little better, but the ventilation may improve when my big toes begin to wear holes in the front tops.

letter carrier very disappointed
Depending upon the route I have, I walk 10-15 miles per day, six days a week. So when I read the reviews about these shoes I thought they would be perfect for me. I was very wrong. I am very disappointed in them. I had to return the first pair I received because the sole came away from shoe near the toe within the first week. I received a replacement quickly and with no problems. Let's just say the first pair were a lemon. If you have, or think you have, wide feet these shoes are not for you - they are narrow. They are reasonably comfortable and have good support. However, the first time it rained the mesh top of the shoe was stained and so the brand new shoe looked months old. And, they have almost no grip. So I have found myself slipping on stairs. If you walk short distances on flat, dry surfaces and have skinny feet these may be okay for you, otherwise I would suggest looking elsewhere - I will be.

Awesome shoes for much less than retail store!! Better than insoles.
For years I had used expensive insoles from Aetrex or others, and I took a chance on these last year at a shoe store. They fit great, and the insole was really well designed such that I had no foot pain. I finally wore them out, so I took a chance ordering these, and they were just perfect out of the box. They are $40 less than what the retail store sells them for.
