## Description

From the manufacturer Get the book and the decoder disk ready on the table. Leave the ‘strange items’ in the box until you’ve explicitly been told that you found them. Sort the cards in ascending order in 3 stacks - Riddle cards, answer cards and help cards but don't look at the front sides yet. The goal is to escape together from the abandoned cabin as quickly as you can. Every lock in the cabin is secured with a riddle with a 3-digit code or code of 3 colours answer. Can you crack the code? Every lock corresponds to a puzzle and each puzzle is marked with a symbol. Take the first riddle card and let the games begin! Pay attention to every detail. Enter each code solved into the decoder disk. Then, look through the viewing window on the smallest wheel to see a number. This number indicates the number of the answer card that you are allowed to look at. If the code is correct the answer card will tell you how to proceed. The game ends when you have solved the last riddle and escaped from the abandoned cabin. Use the Exit Game Certificate to see how well you did! When calculating the number of Help Cards used, only the ones that gave you new hints or solutions should be counted.

We’ve been getting into the EXIT game series recently, and this one definitely stands out as one of our favorites. The puzzles were clever and fun to solve, and the theme was engaging throughout the whole game. Everything felt well designed and kept us interested until the end. We were expecting it to be a lot harder since it’s rated 4 out of 5 in difficulty, but in reality it felt a bit easier than we thought. That said, it was still very enjoyable and satisfying to complete. Overall: A really enjoyable escape room game and a great addition to the EXIT series. Definitely recommended if you enjoy puzzle and mystery games.

The Thames & Kosmos EXIT: Kidnapped in Fortune City is probably one of the best escape room boxes we’ve played so far. We’ve been getting into the EXIT game series recently, and this one definitely stands out as one of our favorites. The puzzles were clever and fun to solve, and the theme was engaging throughout the whole game. Everything felt well designed and kept us interested until the end. We were expecting it to be a lot harder since it’s rated 4 out of 5 in difficulty, but in reality it felt a bit easier than we thought. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First time, great fun!

Just a few things I wished I'd realised that others might find helpful: - The Exit Games have difficulty ratings and as a first timers playing this type of game, should have probably opted for a level 2! But that said, we certainly got our money's worth trying to solve the riddles. - There appears to be an order for this particular series, so possibly getting part one before part two would have made more sense. However, it didnt actually detract from the game play. Just feel like Ive skipped a book! - that the other interactive games that use social media or other apps isn't necessarily better, and the fact this one was a small box, with cardboard pieces actually is all you need (I also bought another game from another company but you needed to install telegram to play the game and that didn't work out very well because the servers had a glitch). So personally I'll be sticking to this brand! Overall we really enjoyed playing this game, so much so I've ordered another one to play over Christmas. Clever riddles, neat twists and turns, and the three tier help cards means you can inch along if you get stuck rather than go straight for the answer. Read the instructions together as a team, didn't take long to work things out, used about 6 help cards (there re three per riddle) so it's definitely doable for the less experienced game players.
