I’ve tried a wide range of dishwasher detergents in my search for truly clean, spotless dishes — pods, liquid, and powder. Even with pre-scrubbing, I was often disappointed. Dishes would come out cloudy, have a strange taste, or be covered in water spots. At the same time, I made a personal decision to stop using products with artificial dyes, fragrances, and harsher chemicals in my home, which narrowed my options even further. I decided to try Molly’s Suds unscented dishwasher pods, and I’ve been very happy with them. My dishes now come out clean and clear, with no residue, no water spots, and no off taste. Everything looks and feels genuinely clean, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. For context: I’m on well water, don’t use any rinse aids or additional dishwasher products, and my dishwasher is a fairly average, mid-range model. Knowing all that, I’ve been impressed with how consistently well these pods perform. This is the second time I’ve purchased these dishwasher pods. They work great, dissolve well, my dishes come out very clean and they’re made with nontoxic chemicals. The cost is also worth it to have nontoxic ingredients in our household cleaners. I have used Cascade pods and also the liquid and had issues with the pods not opening and having to run my dishwasher multiple times and also having chemical residue leaving behind the taste of chemicals. No thank you! I will stick with these pods!!

For everyday use, though, it works great. Overall, this is a great option if you’re trying to reduce harsh chemicals in your home without sacrificing cleanliness. I’d definitely buy it again.

I’ve been using these pods for a couple years now. The pods work very well and my dishes are always clean with no residues left on them. Love that they use clean ingredients and very mild scents. I’ll continue to buy these.

The citric scent is very mild and almost neutral. It doesn’t leave any artificial fragrance on dishes or utensils. I also haven’t noticed any white residue or cloudy film on glasses, which has been an issue for me with other brands. As a small downside, very greasy or heavily soiled items sometimes need to be pre-rinsed or washed on a longer cycle to get the best results. It’s not a major issue, but worth mentioning. We love these dishwasher pods! I was noticing that our dishes and glassware were getting this strange film on them using a very common brand name. We kept adding a rinse aid hoping it would help but it never did. After doing some research I realized how toxic the detergent we were using was. I tried these and we no longer have a nasty film on our dishes. They come out sparkling clean every time! We no longer need a rinse aid either. These also do a great job of removing food from items that might be stuck on. Very impressed with these and have switched multiple friends and family to them. Highly recommend!

Work well for our dish washer! Clean the dishes without residue and gets good grime off. We do rinse our dishes a little before putting them in the dish washer. But have liked them so far and made with good ingredients!

Great product at better price point than Cascade Platinum. No difference in performance compared to name brand. Eco friendly with no unrecognizable ingredients. Switched to the Laundry soap version with good results. Converted for good now.

An amazing product. Happy I purchased this. It leaves baby bottles and teats sparkling clean unlike other products that I have used that leave a film on the bottle teats.

I've been using these for a couple of weeks now, no complaints. They perform just as well as the large corporate brands, without the harmful chemicals.
