Just received this product about one week ago so it hasn’t yet received much use. That being said, this seems to be a quality product- especially at this price point (~$25 USD). Some comment mentioned foul smells or oily textures on the product when received- I did not experience this personally. Currently is being used mainly for screwdrivers but also other pliers/clippers/cutting tools and everything fits perfectly. Tool bag is still compact when wrapped as well. Also saw some complaint about the size of the smaller pockets - they are pretty tiny but are great for certain small screwdrivers or for doubling up pockets for pliers or a similar tool. Overall, would recommend. Will update if anything changes after getting more use.

This is a bargain at this price. I purchased as a means of easily transporting a few knives from my collection, and overflow storage for others at times. It’s much nicer than I expected and extremely durable. The straps secure the roll well and, importantly, are very easy to tighten or loosen based on load size while also being snug enough so that they will not loosen up on their own…even when the bag is fully-loaded down and jostled around consistently for hours on a hike. The internal zipper pocket and stitchings are well-made too. Neither should fail on you at any point. Which is also pleasantly surprising at this price point.I held off on leaving a review until having ample time to really test it out. Just returned from a trip in the middle of nowhere inside the Blue Ridge Mountains today…and while unpacking, figured I’d take a few photos and leave this review before I forget again. I grabbed my four closest pocket knives along with a ruler, sunglasses, and bottle cap for scale.If you’re reading reviews then you must be at least slightly interested in the product.You have your answer. Buy it.

This product is awesome and is built well, HOWEVER, there is an oily substance (product states 'waxed') that gets into fabrics and leaves a weird smell and feel on the hand when touched.It is as described, but you're honestly better off maybe rinsing it, applying your own sealing product, and storing your tools (that you really care about) in a box or something. This thing is designed to be taken on the go and protect your tools, but it leaves a questionable residue.

This is a nice tool roll for the price I was rather surprised. I've been using it for tin/aviation stips and cutting sheets and it holds them well without a lot of play. Theres virtually no tool wear inside like you get with many rolls. I'm a happy camper with this on, no complaints and I dont have to worry about a new tool roll for a while now which was a nice change. I'll buy a few more

Giving this 3.8 stars for a reason. See the good and the bad below.The good: Heavy duty canvas material - I like, appears well built. The larger pockets are wider than similar tool roll designs which is a plus as this provides more flexibility in terms of items that can be accommodated. Mine was purchased to hold a variety of item from large to small pocket knives, fixed blade knives, smaller flash lights, pens, etc. The brass zippered pocket is a nice feature - similar models use use Velcro closures, that don’t completely seal allowing smaller items to spill out.The bad: The black straps seem of lighter cotton material than the primary canvas, but this is a minor gripe. One feature I wanted was being waterproof or close to it. A good waxed (oilskin) coating on heavy cotton should be close to waterproof. I own many oilskin products hats/clothing that shed water significantly better. This item was clearly under treated, while water does in part bead up/roll off, it also seeps into the cloth too easily in comparison. Bottom line is this item was not adequately treated. It's easier for me to reproof with oilskin myself than to return it.

This a nicely made tool roll. The material is really sturdy, it has a handy handle when rolled up, and good fasteners. It's well made, but not well designed. The last 4 pockets are *really* small. You can fir the shaft of a screwdriver in them, but the handles will be crowded when its rolled up. This means you don't have 18 pockets to use. Sure- they have the pockets labeled with dimensions, but inserting anything in them quickly shows that the width of a pocket laid flat isn't the same as when you try to insert a round handle (from a chisel or screwdriver).

This is definitely not one of those cheap tool pouches that rips the second you add your tools. I keep my heavier duty tool for my car in my trunk with this pouch. made from quality heavy duty material, that will last! most product these days are made to break, but this feel like it was somthing my grandpa would have purchased 50 years ago. you don't find many products these days made like this anymore. I highly recommend this product to anyone!

Just what I was looking for to house my M38A1 tools.

This rollup fits a decent collection of knives, it can even accommodate a Cold Steel Espada XL! Sturdy stitching and overall construction. Not highly waxed (putting it mildly), but really, if you were after something that was going to be seeing a lot of water exposure you would be looking for something else. For its intended purpose it gets top marks when considering robust quality and a price that is not egregious.

Looks great in the trunk of my old VW.Lots of pockets for tools and zipped pocket for small items like fuses.
