Very impressed so far with this self healing cutting mat. I’ve used a fiskars razor on it cutting out stencils and I can not see where the razor has went into the mat. It is much cheaper than other mats I looked at and is a perfect size for any desk and any projects that use a standard size sheet of paper! It’s nice and thick and hold its place well on my desk. I would highly recommend!

This cutting mat has been a great addition to my craft supplies. It’s thick, sturdy, and does a great job protecting my work surface. The self-healing surface holds up well after repeated cuts, and my rotary cutter glides smoothly across it. The printed measurement grid and angle lines are clear and accurate, making it much easier to cut fabric and other materials precisely. I’ve been using it with my Cricut projects and it’s been super useful. It’s thick, sturdy, and gives me a smooth surface to work on small craft projects. The size is perfect for my workspace and it protects my table really well.

This is an excellent cutting mat. In fact, I doubt there is a better mat than this one. I use it for a variety of materials - wood veneer, leather, cardboard, etc. It is very sturdy, quite firm, and lays flat from edge to edge. It has a smooth yet non-slip surface, and when used with very sharp tools, its self healing properties are excellent. Because is so durable and double sided, it will last for many years. It is well worth the $38 I paid for it.

This is a great mat, it definitely isn’t self-healing and you will have to replace it at some point like other people have said. It also makes it look like you’re getting two different mats but it’s actually one mat with cm on one side and inches on the other side. But the mat does what I need it to for cutting fabric on, it’s sturdy and thick and really easy to use. I will say the price is slightly high, but the mat is high quality and should last me pretty long so I won’t complain about it. It's not super grippy with fabric or on the surface I put it on, but it’s also not slippy on the table so it doesn’t move around too much. The fabric does slip quite easily off of it though. Overall it’s a good product, but there are a few downsides just to be aware of if you’re looking for a cutting mat.

(Update) (Update) Following several modeling sessions, I observed another remarkable feature of this mat: its texture. There is sufficient texture to ensure not only self-healing but also the stability of items placed on it, preventing them from sliding around and getting lost. (Original post) I recently purchased the yellow print on green mat, size 12x18. I’m pleased with the sturdiness of the mat, as advertised. It’s also more affordable than the store version, which is a bonus. I haven’t had a chance to test the self-healing feature yet, but I was initially concerned that the yellow print might be difficult to read. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the print is easy on the eyes and doesn’t distract from my project. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend Headley Tools to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable mat.

Nul ! ce tapis n'est pas autocicatrisant. A la 1ère tentative de coupe avec un cutter, une belle marque reste présente sur le tapis. Celle-ci est visible à l'œil nu et se sent quand on passe le doigt dessus. C'est le 4ème tapis autocicatrisant que j'achète, tous verts et en A4 ou A3. J'avais besoin d'un gris....déception. Je vais reprendre un vert, mais d'une autre marque.
