The Kitty Loves This
I have purchased this brand of catfood several times because, well, the kitties love it, especially the soupy flavors. I'm writing this review mainly for all the kitties out there who like tasty catfood.

This is not Pate
I read the description and nowhere did I read that it had bits. My six cats drink the juice and leave the bits. They do however, like Friskies with spinach. I can only get that on Chewy.

Larve/maggots in latest batches of salmon cans
Been buying the salmon cans for more than 3 years. Never had any issues. The last month or two though, been finding what looks like maggots or larvae in them. In the last batch, maybe 1 to 2 out of 3 have them in them. I obviously throw them away and don't give them to my cat. Again, never had these issues before, but something is going on with quality control for this kind of food. Bought the chicken cans so we'll see if those are any better.

Good product, lousy shipping
Good product and price. But Amazon shipping always damages the cans. I’ve ordered many different kinds of wet cat food, and there are always a half dozen damaged cans, sometimes still usable, but sometimes broken open. It’s not worth the small price difference to buy from Amazon and get damaged cans.

Great for cats diagnosed with diabetes
My 8 year old kitty has been diagnosed with diabetes; it occurred to me that I had been feeding her food with "high" levels of carbohydrates (any at all is bad enough). I did some research and decided to try this. Number one, it has little to no carbs, and two she loves it! I plan on taking her in soon to see if it might be possible to reduce the amount of Insulin that's been prescribed - I believe it will. (I hate having to give her shots twice a day.) Another piece of good news is that she has been losing weight, and I attribute that to the significantly reduced amount of carbs she had been ingesting. I couldn't be more pleased (unless they reduce the price closer to their "normal" cat food formula). At least this can be obtained without a prescription. <Pleased!!>
