The fragrance is quite strong and persistent even after thorough rinsing, and I would characterise is as being just on the masculine side of unisex, but not something which I think is necessarily untoward on a woman. It is simultaneously leather-like and botanical, but not flowery. I think most men would like the fragrance, but it is definitely not a decidedly feminine fragrance, so I think women would probably go either way for personal use, yet find it attractive on men. I think many gender variant people would enjoy it, as well.
