Pairs with old Thinkpads, no bluetooth turn-on lag, requires mouse speed pointer tuning
Update again: The problem is with the laptop, a Thinkpad W510 running W10/2004. A Lenovo mouse also disconnects. So back up to 5 stars.Update: Spontaneously disconnects. From 5 stars to 1. This may explain why my unit was returned to Amazon.I would not want to discourage you from giving this a try. When it works, it's great!I bought a refurb, which implies that somebody else had trouble. It works perfectly here. Although the maker states "Compatible Bluetooth 2.1: If your PC or Tablet is compatible with HOGP, you can use", meaning low-energy Bluetooth, this trackball works perfectly with Bluetooth 2.1EDR. I verified this by pairing with a Thinkpad W510, and a Thinkpad X61 tablet, both ten years old, both running Windows 10 v2004.Some users report trouble with Bluetooth pairing. It may be a compatibility issue.Unlike any Bluetooth mouse or keyboard I've used with a Bluetooth 2.1 laptop, there is absolutely no turn-on lag. While the typical Bluetooth mouse, when used with an older device needs a little shake to wake it up, the Nakabayashi trackball is precisely as responsive as a wired connection. This implies that when connected with a Bluetooth 2.1 laptop, they don't sleep the mouse. This must have considerable impact on battery life, but the wired-quality responsiveness is worth it. My solution is to carry spare rechargeable NiMH. Note: the battery size is incorrectly given. It takes two AAA's not AA.If you have two mice type devices attached, in my case , while setting it up, a wired Logitech Trackman, and the Nakabayashi , it becomes apparent that there is a sensitivity mismatch. The Nakabayashi is much more sensitive than the Trackman, too much for my thumb. Unfortunately, the, Windows 10 mouse sensitivity is global. Dial the sensitivity down for the Nakabayashi, up for a typical mouse or Trackman.Consider these reasons for buying:1. When life gets back to normal, you want to work in a greasy spoon joint, or a Starbucks, where the table is too dirty to run your mouse.2. You are prepared to trade battery life for wired-usb quality responsiveness.3. My specific reason is to use a Thinkpad in a car, on a lap-desk. There is no place at all to run a mouse. The Nakabayashi sits on the center arm rest.Thoughts: AA batteries are cheaper, and would give much longer battery life. I wish there was a PVA carry case.

Thank you Nakabayashi for my bluetooth trackball!! Logitech have lost a customer who asked for this product FOREVER!
Finally! I have a bluetooth trackball! Been hounding Logitech for years since I've been a trackball user since the early 1990's. Why Logitech didn't come out with one until recently, I don't know other than the fact that they want me to pay for their USB receiver every time I lose one or it breaks. Each time, it would cost me $10. Total B.S.! The beef I have with them now is their latest one, the MX Ergo is going for $99.99!! It was $129.99 when I ordered this one. Yes, it has more features but not worth it to me. I really hope this company takes a lot of business from Logitech. I was a little concerned with some of the reviews that there were connectivity issues but so far I'm having no problem with that on my MacBook Air. So... the size of this trackball will need getting use to if you have used the Logitech M570 like me for years. However, I find that I like it more. You will have to train yourself not to palm it but just to lay your fingers on it. It's a more delicate ergonomic posture and my palm doesn't hurt at the end of the day like it did before. The buttons and scroll wheel are quiet and feel of higher quality than any trackball that I have used in the past. The price point is fantastic! I'll never buy another M570 again! The cool thing is, I can throw this thing in my pant pocket as I go from room to room seeing patients where I would have to leave my M570 on my desk before. Needless to say, I'm stoked that I found this item since I've been looking on and off for years!Update: I've connected it to my Surface Pro "5" and it works great! Worked with it at least 10 hours today and all is well :-)

Only bluetooth option
Reliable bluetooth connection, makes a functional replacement for a Logitech M570 and doesn't require a dongle on most computers. Works with tablets and phones, etc. However, people often buy a M570 for ergonomic reasons such as carpal tunnel, and this is definitely not as comfortable as an M570 at all. It is built as a travel trackball and is extremely small and takes some getting used to if you've been using the Logitech thumbballs for a long time. I've been using them for almost 20 years and it took me a while to get used to not having anything under my palm, the Digio2 essentially just sits beneath your fingers and thumb. Otherwise, very similar thumb feel and if you need a bluetooth trackball this will do the job fine and you won't be disappointed in the reliable connectivity as I have been with many other bluetooth devices over the years. If you use a trackball at home or in the office but have to travel often, this is a lot smaller and a lot easier to pack than the bulky Logitech.

Good compact wireless track ball mouse.
I bought this (Nakabayashi Co,Ltd. Digio2 Bluetooth Wireless Trackball) to use with a tablet. There are not many to choose from if you have ever looked and they are usually expensive. This works right out of the box, no extra crap to install just works. Is compact yet comfortable enough for my large hands. Track ball mice are best for if you have to do a lot of movement like playing games and it has to fit well enough as not to fatigue your hand. So far so good. Will update it my opinion changes.

Better off with the Logitech MX Ergo
I have been using the Logitech M570 trackball mouse for years and decided to get an upgrade when I bought a new laptop. I was eying the MX Ergo, but decided on this one to save $20.00. It was a mistake. The mouse is small, oddly shaped and uncomfortable to use. On top of that, the Bluetooth had connection issues and would stop working several times during normal everyday use. I returned it and got the MX Ergo instead. Much more comfortable to use and haven't experienced any connection issues. Worth the higher price tag.

Great mouse!
I bought a new Imac, but didn't like the Magic Mouse 2; I missed my rollerball mouse. I tried my old rollerball on my new Imac, but I kept having issues with it. I decided to try this Digio 2 rollerball mouse and just love it. It is bluetooth and paired instantly with my Imac. It is smaller than American rollerballs, but I got used to that in about 5 minutes. It works flawlessly.
