To cover my bases, I ordered boxes from three companies. I was worried that something might be broken, the wrong size, or simply not arrive in time.Ultimately, I used the Star India Craft box. It was good quality and had broad enough sizing range to fit Uncle Ronnie. As I recall, many of the brands didn't have options for very large boxes. I think Uncle Ronnie was 250+ lbs and he fit in the XXXL size. Two boxes had the tree of life image on the cover. The Star India box cover was a little less busy than the other brand. Wouldn't be that noticeable unless you happen to have both options in hand (like I did!)(not sure if I’m allowed to do this, but I’d appreciate the info so I’m trying … ) I ordered three boxes. Ultimately, I used the Star India Craft XXX-Large box. The Star India box was very similar to the Hand-Carved Rosewood Urn Box. Star India was slightly better quality and the right size. Hand-Carved Rosewood had slight, slight damage and a colorization problem. I also ordered the Indian Glance Wooden Urn Box X-Large1. Glance Wooden box was good quality and the smallest option. The Glance Wooden box is nice if you’re looking for a plainer style.

This box is beautiful. Nice workmanship. The inlay on the top is very nice, and the sides are highly polished. Definitely recommend.

I love this burial box. It had room for dad's remains plus all of the following: a folded road map, a wedding ring, a key chain, some coins, eyeglasses, a small tape measure, a watch, a keychain, a guitar capo, some of his favorite snacks (shrimp chips and fried onions!), and 300 jigsaw puzzle pieces! I felt so good about burying all these things with Dad.

My brothers cremains came from the funeral home in a fairly large plastic box. I wanted to get an urn large enough to put the plastic box in. I searched all over for the exact interior measurements of the XXXL size and couldn't find it. I took a chance and ordered the XXXL and it is the perfect size that I needed. Here are the usable inside dimensions of the XXXL box 4 9/16" x 6 9/16" x 8 9/16". It is a fairly decent quality urn and, for the price, I would purchase again if needed.

I purchased this for my dearly departed, 14 pound cat, I previously had his remains in a metallic urn that was nice but so cold. When my other kitty passed the vet had her cremains placed in a wooden urn and it seemed much “warmer” for some reason. I choose this because it was similar and I am very pleased with the quality and the ease of use. The cremains are securely held and the box is lovely.

The box itself is attractive but I would have preferred a sturdier slide opening without the need of a screw to hold it in place.

I purchased the 2XL urn and it is exactly as described and pictured.I didn’t need this size but it will have ample room for other family ashes I have so we can all be scattered together once my time comes.

These are so beautiful. Well made. Solid. Nicely carved. I was happy that they were each slightly different colors the striations in the wood. One is a gift for a sibling. Perfect size not to large not too small. I felt they were a bit pricey but how can you put a price on something that will home your loved one. We will treasure them. ❤️

Well made, and as advertised, but when it arrived the packaging & item itself all smelled musty & mouldy, although there were no signs of mould or mildew, or that there had ever been any. 10 days after receiving it, the smell remains. Perhaps stain or gloss finish causing the smell?

To sell something for £90 that is this bad is quite something. The base is not wood and the lid just rests on top loose with no inside edging or any way of securing it. So even the slightest movement will knock the lid off. Probably not the greatest idea when your selling it as an ashes holder. Would have returned it in heart beat but the cost of postage to India made it just not worth it.
