what a waste
I had previously bought a pepper grinder like the salt grinder. I bought salt grinder 12/24/15. While using it today the bottom fell off and salt went everywhere. Not two months old and fifteen dollars and change is in the trash. Don't waste your money on such a cheapo product

Great Kitchen Tool
I bought this for a friend, and she loves it. She has had the pepper version for a while now, so she wanted the matching salt version. She likes how it flakes the salt instead of making it chunks. She has hand issues so she finds this design ideal for her issues, very easy to use. It is easy to fill and it is easy to clean, stands up nicely in the cupboard and is generally a great kitchen tool.

Not durable. Poor design.
We are always asked to review much too soon, so I always try to wait so that I can see how durable something is. WELL!! This grinder fell apart on the first refill. The seam on the bottom, which is the grinder adjuster of the device has broken open and split. I'm so disappointed because I love the grinder when it works. I have the pepper ball and so far it is fine.

Easy to use
They work great as a one handed grinder, my need due to an injury. They are ergonomic. I am pleased with the purchase, use and style.

Great idea
I like how it's a 1 handed grinder. After a while of use the bottom half doesn't come off but doesn't stay on. Squeezing the grips pushes down on it and that's how it grinds. So when the bottom half moves down when the grinding part moves down, not much ends up being ground. Worked fine for the first few months

Easy to use and great grind!
This is the best salt grinder I have found to date! Highly recommended! Handles easily even with arthritis and the grind is consistent and fine when desired.

Chef'n SaltBall
I originally had the previous design , which was bought as a gift, however the salt ball ears snapped off through normal use and still having the pepper ball I replaced with the new design. This appears a better construction than the old design, and the although many people complain about the ability to grind the salt that come with the product I have experienced no difficulties. Additional the fine to course grinding also appears to work well fro me . The only negative that I have noticed is the filling is a little tricky but thats really looking for a fault. All in all a good replacement for it's previous iteration.
