It works but it is difficult to assemble
Everything you need is in the kit. I watch a few videos before attempting to replace the controller. Make sure you watch one of the longer ones (I ended up following one by an engineer). It took about an hour to completely replace the part. Go slow and take a break if you need to. Small hands help. Reconnecting the ribbon was the most difficult part. Make sure you have good light.

Worked great.
Some of the plastic tools quickly broke. I had tools of my own that did the job. It would be nice to have some very detailed instructions, or even a video. YouTube has plenty, however there isn't a perfect one. Watch several videos prior to attempting this. Still little details and tips are left out.

Doesn't Work
Bought the product because the video shows how easy it is to remove the broken component from an oculus joystick. However, the screws are angled in such a way that the provided screwdriver does not fit inside the round ring of the joystick. It is impossible, using the tool provided, to do this. Also, the plastic prying tools are useless. They snapped upon first use. They have the strength of a plastic drinking straw. If you had the right tools, this kind of job might be fine, but these tools are not adequate for the job. I don't know if the actual toggles are any good, because I couldn't get to the old ones to replace. Just purchasing new joysticks, which is a better use of my time.

A perfect fit with decent tools and instructions to go along with it
I had a really bad joystick drift on my controller and I didn't feel like going another week without a controller (got drift on my other controller about 2 weeks before this one and Oculus took forever to exchange it) so I decided to bite the bullet and just try repairing it myself. The video on this Amazon listing was actually pretty good and detailed and the tools that came with the joysticks were not the best quality but more than good enough to get it open and closed without stripping any screws or anything. The only thing I had issues with was taking off the label in the battery compartment because I didn't want to just poke through it but if you're generous enough with some isopropyl alcohol you should be able to get it out fine. Overall I'm really happy with this and my joystick works perfectly now.

Ditch the screwdriver
So, I ended using my iFixit kit because as soon as I pulled out the screwdriver, the top popped off. I didn't think much of it at first until I screwed off the metal cap, dumped out the bits and then accidentally put the cap on upside down. So, it's never coming back out. After trying to deal with the setting up of the bit I got over the amount of actions it took and just got out the ifixit set.META Mechanic had the best video to follow, since it has extra explanation on the reassembly process and a diagram for the screws. After I did one, I did have to leave the face to gap a little. I'm not sure yet, but the stick was against the face so it created friction. Not pressing the face all the way flush seems to be what worked.

Not worth the headache
Before buying this I read several reviews stating it was a little difficult but they got it done, so I bought it bc there is obviously a left controller problem from the get go. My unit is fairly new and used very little. Any who.1st, the tools given ain’t worth a darn. They work on 60% of the screws but no chance at getting all, and, finding a tiny screw driver to work would be a job itself. So after drilling out 2 screws that were near impossible, you fight the glue and clips. Once you crack stuff and pry that apart, you have a tiny ribbon with no slack that needs unhooked and reattached and let me tell ya, NOT EASY. Once that’s done you have to remove the inside computer chip base which has 2 screws blocked by the trigger knob. At this point, due to tedious headache to save 90$ and it taking 35-40 min to get here, I did what I should have done to begin with and threw it in the trash! Not worth the headache!!!

Works but could be better
End result: replacement completed, stick-drift gone, full controller functionality present.Cons-Tool used to remove screws doesn't fit inside controller ring. You can still remove screws under it, but you have to get them at odd angle and use additional pressure.-Storage for fittings in back of tool is pretty tight for all included fittings. Small gripe but still a bit annoying when trying to get fittings out.-Green tool is super flimsy it can be sort of useful as it's thinner than the blue (pick shaped) tool, but I don't expect to get much use out of it before it snapsThings to consider:When replacing the joystick be sure you watch a good video. You need to make sure you transfer the original spring and joystick cover to the new part.
