Size is misleading. The total size of the strap is 59 inches, with the distance to the ratchet groves this belt will not fit waists over about 54 inches.I tried the buckle on my yichaoyiliang Black Leather Ratchet Dress belts for men big (that belt came as advertised), and it worked ok. The release for the ratchet is a bit tight and hard to work, but that could be due to the newness of the buckle.
