This review is to answer the question of the person missing their instruction book.We've had a lot of fun with this kit. Most experiments are simple and quick and the mess is enough the kids love it but not so bad I hate it. Kids are 6 and 8.

Not enough of the vials

This item has lots of fun activities for my 6 year old grandson. It’s a great way to spend active time with him. He loves reading the instructions out loud to be sure we do the experiments right. Hours of fun is in this box.

Seems a decent chemistry set for our daughter who is not too interested in science right now. She's had fun with it so far.

I knew our 6 year old would love this - she just loves getting the chemical reaction and playing and just having fun with these. This started off with an immediate bang, though, because we simply could not find the INSTRUCTIONS! I had a bit of an argument with her because I wanted to contact the company and ask an email/pdf copy of the instructions but she simply could not wait...meaning couldn't even wait for me to send them an email, let alone wait for a response from the company! To sum it up, she basically opened everything and combined it all into one giant pot, getting her 3 year old sister involved in the fracas and making some colored slime. Basically used the entire thing up in 30 minutes...pretty hilarious in hindsight that I wasted so much time concerned about the instructions. But by that time I had contacted the company and they had already sent out a replacement...it did look like they made absolutely sure that instructions were included in the replacement. Overall, very happy and no complaints. It's kind of nice because all of the contents come in little baggies too, so once you open an item you could leave the leftovers in the resealable baggie. I don't know if I'd call that perfect but it's good enough. Fair price for the item also, very happy.

This is a great set when you're not sure what to get for a child, or a small group of kiddos. The science lessons are likely lost, but it's a fun hands-on sensory experience, which paves the way for more immersive learning. There's a lot of materials for the price, it's a nice value as well. This is highly recommended set.
