Ronseal DHFPSL25L 2.5L Diamond Hard Floor Paint - Slate

Used this to smarten up a patched up floor of paving slabs and cement. Followed the instructions carefully. Sealed the floor first with a pva based sealant. Stirred the paint for at least 5 minutes. Used 3 coats. Sanded lightly between coats. I strongly advise leaving plenty of drying time between coats (at least 24 hours). Gives a pleasing result with a gentle sheen. A great product, but NOT a quick fix. Rush it and you'll ruin it. Take your time.The reviewers on here that have posted photos of the paint flaking off have simply not prepared the floor properly, or there is an inherent problem with the floor itself, (damp, for example). You MUST sand and seal it with a PVA type sealant first. It states this quite clearly on the tin. If you don't, the paint will flake off

Used a few times for floor of my log cabin. Wears over time but easy to apply. STIR THOURGHLY FIRST!

Two coats and job done!! Seemed very watery going on, it dries fast and I love that its water based as it makes the clean up so much easier. My stairs were in a terrible state and this paint has made them look brilliant - don't think I'll ever go back to carpet!

I used this for a set of stairs that I painted and one year later, is has held up very well.Definitely use a primer with it, and give it two coats. I've not got a single dent or mark out of the paint on a set of stairs (and handrail) in the 12 months since I used it (along with a little fluffball for a cat and the missus, who has gone up and down them in leather soled brogues) and it wipes nice and clean and has stayed the same colour and sheen since it went on.Solid and highly recommended. The slate grey is more light grey though.

Looks very good in the bedroom, enhancing Laura Ashley furnishings.Only one small comment-floor appears rather slippery. Apart from that completely satisfied with this product. Would highly recommend.
