Very easy to install, sturdy and well made. I put on my 2008 Rubicon and love it!

Great carrier and easy install
Hauling a 35 inch nitro ridge grapplers on the back of my jeep jk and this carrier handles it great. anyone with a little hardware knowledge can install this themselves no problem. It’s pretty sturdy although when you close the tailgate it does rattle slightly or going off-roading but nothing to worry about. Looks very flush with the rest of the Jeep and makes it look more aggressive because of the customizable height of the tire. Definitely worth it especially considering the price as compared to other tire carriers but can’t give you a clear answer on how it might handle a tire above 35 inches.

Solid and Easy to install
Worth the money solid product and easy to install see pictures . Just buy some foam strip for backing so it’s not metal on metal on back door plate other then that your all set . Enjoy

Not bad, but...
It seems sturdy enough. Be sure to use the original OEM bolts if you can. I broke two that mounted on the mounting plate. Looks sturdy enough, but I will probably upgrade to a aftermarket bumper with a tire carrier or upgraded hinge assembly. This is a 35" tire and can easily hold a 37" maybe a 40". I only wish it had a place to mount the upper taillight that is on the original.
