Before adding the STP, my oil pressure had dropped to about 36 psia at highway speed, so I added some of the new STP rated for synthetic oil and, after a few days of driving, my pressure was up to the perfect 43. I've been using STP standard of conventional oil for decades and it really does protect and extend my engines. I've now moved to synthetic and new STP for synthetic oil with good results.
