These fit as other medium Kerrits pants have fit me previously. The pocket on the side is super convenient. I don't know that I would refer to it as "ice", but these tights are super comfortable and of a good weight. They are cooler if you get water to soak into them, but I find that pouring water on them doesn't work as the water simply roll off. Still, even in this somewhat darker color, they are okay for the summer heat. The little grippy carrots are fun and actually grippy. I am interested to see how they hold up to regular riding and washing, but after a month or so, I'm really enjoying them.My pair (in the river color) does have belt loops.I would definitely buy myself another pair of these. And probably will soon!

I am so pleased with these tights. They're super comfortable, breathable, and flattering. The 'ice' padding on the inside of the leg noticeably makes a difference in improving your seat. It does have an almost 'sticky' kind of friction to it, which some riders may not like, especially if your thighs touch while walking. Personally, I didn't find the sticky friction bothersome. Also, these tights come with pockets (a huge plus); they're secure yet roomy enough for large phones. I will be buying more colors!

Now retired from the show ring me and my miniature horses go on long trail walks. I needed something that would help keep me cool as well as something I could ride in, if one of my friends with a full size horse was with and offered to switch. These tights are very soft and comfortable allowing me to walk and climb hills with lots of movement. I do feel cooler when wearing them and they seem to dry quicker than normal pants after walking through streams. The cute grippy carrots are great help for staying in the saddle and of course you can always appreciate having pockets large enough for a cellphone.I personally have been hand washing mine after reading a few reviews saying there was problems with picking of the fabric. I haven't have any issues with pilling or picking and I'm careful to keep Velcro away from the tights. They are a bit delicate it feels so I will also make sure not to be going through very brushy trails when wearing them. I would still recommend them for all around use and they are made in the USA!

I was hesitant to get these summer weight tights. I actually find them to be comfortable, grippy in the saddle and yet soft . They are not "too thin" or skimpy, the fabric is not see thru, it is opaque and substantial but not heavy weight. These fit nicely, the waistband sits below my waist and is comfortable not to tight, does not create an indent in my less than super-fit belly. (doesn't create a muffin top, in other words) they are long enough, I'm 5'7", and I may order another pair!

I have these in grape and shale and love them, so I ordered them in tan as well for a more traditional look. Bad idea! The tan are see through. You could see my underwear (not a panty line, but the actual underwear itself, and I was wearing a light color). Also, I have a dark birthmark on the back of my leg and it was clearly visible through my pants. Eeek!The other colors have been great -- they are breathable, grip well, and are about as flattering as spandex pants can possibly be. The wide waistband helps keep them up without making them too tight at the waist. While they're obviously very form fitting, they aren't constricting and are very comfortable. They have little side pockets that fit my phone (iPhone 5s -- not sure you could get a 6 in there) or gloves. They hold up well to riding and washing. The tag says to line dry them, but mine have done fine in the dryer on low.For size comparison, I am small in these and either a 2 Short or a 4 Petite in Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic/JCrew and a 28 Petite/Ankle in AG Jeans. I'm 5'5" with a 27 inch waist, 37 inch hips, and a 30 inch inseam for leggings/skinny jeans/breeches. I find Kerrits run pretty true to size. I ordered based on their size chart on their website and it suggested the correct size for me.

I LOVE these breeches. They are my favorite to wear for so many reasons.1. The pants just stay up and perfect on your waist. I am SO picky about this because I don't want to be pulling my pants up while I am riding ever. They even have the option to add a belt if you like your pants locked down.2. The plastic little carrots on the booty keep you in the saddle.... it's amazing! no slipping at all.3. I was very skeptical about how these pants would keep me "cool" in the hot California sun. When you first put them on they seem like they would keep you warm. Honestly, these breeches are great in all weather keep me warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather... i don't understand how they accomplished that, some hoodini magic going on here.4. The most comfortable pants ever. I even fell alseep in these.Great product. need them in all colors. if youre thinking of buying i HIGHLY reccomend, you won't regret it.

Great tights - lightweight but not at all see though. And just the right amount of grip I was looking for!

I love Kerrits and am very familiar with fit etc . My only disappointment with these "poppy" colored ones would be that they look much redder in the picture and when you see them compared to my gloves , which are a true red , they are almost rust colored
