I bought this for the sole purpose of having a place to prop up my iPad during bath time...either to view a movie/show or to read. and it works great. Sturdy enough that I don't worry about my iPad taking a swim. the mechanism to fit any tub is simple and works well. has rubber pads to keep it from slipping around on the tub sides. Definitely works for my purpose. Who knows how well it would hold up to rough treatment, but since my kids are all grown I don't need to worry about that.

So disappointed because I love this style. My bathtub is wide so I need it to be almost fully extended. It is not connected with the main area, so it completely comes apart when fully and almost fully extended (with a book on it). If it’s a small tub it will probably work fine but niot on a large tub!

It rust after 1 use. I have an oval garden tub and the arms don't reach far enough across in the middle only at the top & bottom of the tub. Would work better with a narrow standard tub.
