Looks like a school project
I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. This book recently got some press in a couple magazines I was reading so I was excited about it's release. When I received it in the mail yesterday I was very underwhelmed. At a measly 130 pages, it looks as if a child put it together. Instead of featuring many of Kate's stunning photos, the author chose a bunch of mediocre candids to fill his book with. What a let-down. The font is really small too, which makes the text really difficult to read. This bio is seriously lacking!I may be returning this within the week.

Disappointed...
Not what I was expecting...Virtually all of the "beautiful photographs" are AP photos from runway shows... a couple Ad shots thrown in as well. There is only a little bit of biographical information on Kate...the rest of the book is mostly esoteric ramblings about the state of the world at the time, and has NOTHING to do with Kate's career or the fashion industry in generalThere are a few passages with some interesting insights, but inevitably they are quotes from designers, editors, or some other people in the industry. This Is not what I would call a biography, nor even a "timeline" of her career. It reads like a Susan Sontag book, but without any correlation to the subject the book is about. Not recommended for Kate fans.
