Fantastic for cooling an iPhone 12 Pro Max
Really exceeded my expectations. Does it feel cheap? Sure, a bit - the fit and finish is good for the price though and it doesn’t feel like it will break.. However the features are *outstanding* and it’s a must-have imo. I wasn’t actually looking for a controller, just a fan that would not simply sit in the center of the phone, and almost all that I could find were MagSafe which meant they would be in the center. The iPhone 12 Pro Max heats up by the camera module so center cooling would not really be addressing the problem.Because of the two fans on the back, it cools where the phone needs it the most, and also everywhere else so it really does the job. In games like Genshin, Honkai, PGR (Punishing Gray Raven) and others that will often start having frame drops because of absurdly high heat levels building from the lack of cooling apple decided to use, I can simply turn on the fan and within 10-15 seconds the framerate is smooth again. It’s really quite something, and shows how bad of a decision it is for Apple to use these chips with no thought about cooling because they are quite capable, but when the phone throttles every single time a game pushes them then what’s the point? The fans here completely solved my problem. A+.Now for the extras I didn’t count on needing but also love. It is incredibly comfortable to play phone games like this. It basically feels like using an Xbox controller or switch pro controller instead of having the edges of your phone gradually digging in your fingers during long play sessions. Very, very comfortable and I think anyone who games a lot on phone would benefit from the improved ergonomics. Doesn’t help with vertical orientation though, but all the games I play are landscape so no problems there. The triggers are a fantastic addition but the game your playing has to support movable UI elements for them to do anything. In PGR this is hands down the best way to play the game. I have tried playing on pc with controller but the orb matching system is really bad on controller, however combat feels better with controller than m+kb. With this I can move the dodge button to the top of the screen and dodge with the right trigger, and keep my thumbs able to attack and match orbs. It feels like the game is meant to be played like this it’s so good. Unfortunately it doesn’t help at all in Genshin or Honkai because they don’t let you move UI elements so there’s no way to move anything to the top of the screen where it would need to be to use the triggers. A trigger that has software that lets you choose where on screen it is activating would have to be used for that, like the triggers built into “gaming phones”, and is beyond the scope of this product, so for what they are intended to do on this product they are really great. They can be flipped out of the way when not being used too.Last there is the stand. I didn’t even know it had a stand when I ordered it. I can prop up the phone and not need to hold it if I’m watching a long cutscene, or if I’m taking a break and watching a video. Multiple heights for any viewing angle and with the two grips of the controller it forms a tripod base that is very sturdy. Nice.It has a power bank built in and includes a charging cable. The fan lasts a very long time and hasn’t run out on me. The fan has two speeds and the lowest speed it sufficient for cooling even the hottest running games so the power draw is lower than if I needed max speed. You can also charge your phone since it has a full size usb port to plug in a charging cable. If you can’t tell, I love this product. I hope they never stop selling it and I might order a few more in case they run out - it’s that good. Yes it is niche - if your phone isn’t overheating during games then a lot of the utility won’t be there for you. But specifically for a phone with a terrible heat problem playing games like the iPhone 12 Pro Max? It’s a must buy if you game on your phone and notice it throttling. The fans are the main deal but you get so much more with it too added on. And so far as I can tell it’s the only product of its kind featuring fans that cover the entire back of the phone, fits larger phones and includes all of these extra features.

I love it but.…
Its wonderful and it really does work as intended and my phone doesn't overheat when I play open world games on my iPhone. But my one issue is the thing that holds my phone, clicks on my phones buttons. It presses down on my volume and power buttons. I have to position it right so it doesn't press down on the button as much so it does not affect my gameplay experience. My suggestion is the thing that holds the phone to the controller, it should hold the phone from the side instead of above the phone so it doesn't touch the buttons. I would love to see another variation of the product with some improvements but I am overall satisfied.

Wow
This product has already impressed me so far. There are 2 fan speeds adjustable by a button at the lower end. The style is nice, simple, soft texture and comfortable grips. I have been running the fan on high speed for an hour and half and am still unsure of how long it is still going to last, or how long it takes to charge. I wish there were a battery indicator to let me know how much charge it has, but otherwise this is great to keep at home. You might lose the shoulder button touchscreen nubs if you carry this loosely in your bag, but they provide one pair spare of them. The device charges by micro USB B and has a USB A port to connect any cable for charging any device. It does not feel cheap nor does it rattle. I love this so far and hope it lasts 👍

Cools phone.
Pro: I use this controller to play codm. My phone gets very hot playing codm. This works great to cool off phone and triggers make it easier to play.Con: This controller only last 3-4 months. Eventually it will stop holding a charge and the fan will last about 5 mins before it dies.

Go with a different one!
This controller accessory for mobile gaming would be a total game changer— if it worked correctly. The touch piece to one of the triggers is too low and touches the screen without me pressing the trigger, which makes it useless. The fan is loud and doesn’t seem to function great. The material feels very cheap and low quality. Additionally the fit is not very compatible with my phone, as it presses buttons where it grips which makes it impossible to play. If I were you I’d go with a different product that’s better made.

Cools my phone too
I bought this a while back and I still have it to play my games on my phone. It cools my phone too if it gets hot while playing . Very nice

I am happy.
As a phone cooler it's great. Fully charge, the fans will run eight and a half hours. I don't actually play any of the types of games on the phone that would require a gamepad like this. I just needed a cooler that had two fan and didn't cost a ton. The fact that this one has a built-in power supply was just that much better! Given that all it is really is two fans and a holder for my phone, I'm sufficiently impressed. It cooled down my phone from 107 degrees to 92 degrees in seven minutes while the phone and gamepad were both charging. Granted, this is in an indoor environment with air conditioning, so the ambient temperature is significantly lower than if I were outdoors right now (the middle part of summer), but overall, I'm still pleased. My phone had been overheating a lot lately, even while indoors and I had been looking for a simple solution before figuring out what the problem was. For the current price tag of twenty dollars, with two fans and an internal 4000mAh battery, I'm happy! It would be cool if this had a battery meter somewhere, but it's not a huge deal to me, just something neat. Also, somewhat shocked that this uses a micro USB rather than a USBC like a lot of the others out there are currently doing. But I'm usually going to leave it charging the whole day anyways, so not a big issue either.
