Has anyone used these vents for soffit or foundation vents?

I have not used these for soffit or foundation vents. I have them in my outdoor kitchen. It depends if you want the stainless steel look or painted vent look.

Can you tell me what size the mounting holes are?

I believe i used a #10 screw but you can drill it out to whatever you need.

What was the rough opening dimension used when installing this vent?

2" smaller than the actual vent

High quality vent for DIY outdoor gas fire table. Wish it had a rodent screen to help avoid unwelcome visitors (rodents, wasps, etc.)
