LEGO Technic 6x6 All Terrain Tow Truck 42070 Building Kit (1862 Pieces) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

This truck is so cool!!As someone who is NOT a lego builder I was shocked at how many pieces and steps were involved in this!My husband and son (long time LEGO builders) built it together and even they were impressed at how intricate and incredible it was.The building was fun and after they had a great time driving it around and operating all the moving parts!My 7 year still takes it out regularly several months later.Definitely involves a higher skill level of building though. Not for a beginner. While the steps are easy to follow there are a lot of things that need to be just so in order for it to operate properly.

Decent challenge even for experienced builders. Functionality wise I think the motors are underpowered for the forward and backward movement, but unless LEGO has any stronger motors (which I doubt), there is not much you can do. Not an issue at all, but the truck does not move very fast.The model itself has a great level of detail and the moving parts are awesome. As said before, it is a decent challenge to build, and you got to follow the instructions to the letter, otherwise some functions might not work as expected.Overall great bang for the buck and provided maybe 6-8h of build time and some additional hours of play time. Looks great in my little LEGO exhibition.

I absolutely love this piece of machinery. This truck took me around almost a day to build with a little bit of experience from other sets. So I would recommend this set for people who have built sets over 1000 pieces because i have occasionally ran into slight problems around the way. The truck can be modified so you could add LEGO LED light so the headlights could light up but the LEDs ARE NOT included in this set. This set for me was beyond perfect.

It may sound weird but I like it when LEGO requires I pay attention to the instructions when I am working on a model. A couple of times I didn't do that carefully enough on this model which meant I had to retrace my steps a couple of times. When I was done though i was very pleased with this model. I would recommend it to any experienced builder.

A great build. A good bang for the buck. Very functional, and its big! 5-6 hour build, that I worked on over a few weekends 30-40 minutes at a time. I love Lego Technic

I loved the bulid very nice model remote control function is useless sorry to say but most of my model's are static displays after i put them together so its fine for me i didnt buy it for the remote control function

My 9 year old son was able to build this with some supervision.Great build quality as always, clear instructions and a lot of fun. Need to be alert when fixing the core (gears/axle/differentials). Once that's done, the other surrounding build is easy.A bit overpriced but still worth it!

I must admit that I had some difficulty assembling this truck. I had to retrace the build a few times, as things did not go as easy as I thought. I found that some illustrations were a bit confusing. But, when I fired it up, everything worked great!

Increíblemente entretenido de armar. Gran cantidad de mecanismos y engranes para que funcione todo. Me tomo cerca de 15 horas armarlo. Gran producto represe nativo del 40 aniversario de Lego.

Great product. Fun to build. Take your time not to miss any steps as it will affect the operation of the truck later. We love all the power options.

Vous devez être très patient et bien suivre les instructions pour construire ce véhicule. Un adulte doit aider l’enfant pour assembler toutes les pièces et il faut être très patient car vous en aurez pour quelques heures avant de pouvoir jouer avec le produit fini. Une fois construit, vous jouerez pendant des heures et des heures sans vous ennuyer. Le télécommande et les pièces mobiles fonctionnent très bien, considérant que c’est un LEGO Tecnic de qualité. J’adore les LEGO Tecnic pour la qualité des pièces et des différents modèles offerts.
